Many people will think this was a terrible movie because it didn't have Chevy Chase in it and it was a TV movie. I tell you what, this movie is a new classic. Randy Quaid was great as his famous character Cousin Eddie Johnson and other familiar faces return as well to reprise Cathrine and (Vacation 1's) Audry Griswold. The plot was a little silly, but that's what Eddie is: a silly man who's not all that bright. The slapstick comedy wasn't overflooding the movie, however Eric Idle does a great job at his slapstick approach as the accident-prone English man from Vacation 2. If you need a good laugh, this movie will do it for you. It will never replace Christmas Vacation 1, but it'll tickle your funny bone.
