The Terminal (2004)
8/10
Highly entertaining and very funny.

I very much enjoyed this Capraesque film. Tom Hanks was his usual charming self, Stanley Tucci was perfect as the evil head of the airport. Catherine Zeta Jones was believable in her role as the ill-used (by her married boyfriend) airline flight attendant. She wore minimal makeup, a plain hairstyle, and boring uniform which helped. This is a very endearing, uplifting story of everyday people who happen to work at the airport. The supporting actors were all great and so were the background actors. Spielberg's use of the camera while the large cast quickly wandered through the airport created a wonderful feeling of movement. I was a little let down by the ending, but I won't give it away.
