I saw this 5-part mini-series on PBS several years ago. I enjoyed it so much, I retraced the route from the first episode's drive, U.S. Highway 61, from Baton Rouge to Memphis. I am looking forward to making the other drives as well, especially Route 66 and Route 93. Highly recommended for all who enjoy traveling by automobile!
