This is the fifth film between Huppert and Claude Chabrol and they are just a terrific team. This film is like a french Hitchcock mystery and its so well written and of course Huppert is great. Besides Isabelle Adjani she's my favorite french actress. She's both sexy and strong. Smart and fragile. She's so versatile in her acting craft and its such a joy to watch her. But back to this film, Interesting from the first minute until the end credits start to roll and we get to watch Hupperts character self disintegrate. Good solid mystery with another wonderful performance by one of France's greatest actress's.
