The only thing good about this movie is that it was among the first to explore the love triangle, not that such topic did not exist in Chinese movies before, but it was one of the first about the relationships that involves the couples living together before the marriage, which is not generally accepted in China because by then, such living arrangements also means having sex before being married). The movie is cheesy, and boring in comparison to those made in Hollywood, but for Chinese standard, it already reached the threshold of tolerance.
