I was a bit confused on who's son/daughter, was who's. That includes grand children. Maybe I'm getting old but I really had a hard time trying to figure out who belonged to whom. Probably because it was condensed from a long mini-series to a movie so one must take that into consideration and overlook it.
But, that aside this movie was excellently done. The cast was well chosen and did a very good job. However, the performances of Aiello and Mantegna were OUTSTANDING. I didn't realize, until this movie, just how good these two really were.
This movie is definetly on the par with Godfather and Goodfellows for substance and character.
If you want to see realistically how the mob worked and haven't see the aforementioned movies this one is a must.
Worth renting, buying and seeing again several times.
