I loved Pete & Pete. The theme song alone made me happy when I heard it. I must admit that I was 20 when I discovered this show.
I believe the reason it was probably cancelled was that it was a show for adults about kids instead of a show for kids. I know that the younger members of my extended family didn't like the show at all.
