A terrific original plot, great acting. Meredith Salenger does an excellent job as Lainie, and Corey Feldman does one of his best performances (several scenes are outside of his "normal" routine, and he does them very well). A very good combination of romance, seriousness, a little comedy, and a touch of weirdness.
