Inspector Clouseau is back solving crimes by accident in this hilarious comedy. In the second of the Pink Panther series, the blundering Clouseau is sure that the beautiful Elke Sommer is absolutely innocent of murder despite a mountain of evidence against her. A great script by Blake Edwards along with a catchy Henry Mancini score add to the films effectiveness. First time appearances by Herbert Lom as the long suffering Inspector Dreyfuss and Burt Kwok as Cato.If you like this effort, try The Return of the Pink Panther. Both are considered the best of the many Pink Panther spin-offs.
