Contrived and corny, but wonderfully sentimental. Susan Hayward

sang beautifully and elicited tender and touching moments.

Singing the old songs about America, the various states to the

assembled wounded soldiers brought tears to my eyes. I am a

film buff and a psychoanalyst who does film reviews.
