The future is not looking bright for Raven’s Home, which has officially been cancelled by Disney Channel after six seasons, TVLine has confirmed.
A continuation of That’s So Raven, which aired on Disney Channel from 2003 to 2007, Raven’s Home reunited viewers with the sitcom’s titular psychic (played by Raven-Symoné), who was now the mother of twins — including a son Booker (Issac Ryan Brown), who has clairvoyant powers of his own. Set in Chicago for its first four seasons, Raven’s Home ultimately relocated back to San Francisco (aka the original setting of That’s So Raven) for the remainder of its run.

When it comes to filming back-to-back projects, one could do worse than swapping out Byron Bay for the Great Ocean Road.
Such was the scenario for young actress Savannah La Rain, who went from shooting Tyler Atkins’ debut feature Bosch and Rockit with Luke Hemsworth in the second half of 2020 to riding waves in regional Victoria earlier this year for upcoming Netflix young adult series Surviving Summer.
The 16-year-old told If the transition was a case of art imitating life.
“I loved how could just tell the vibe [with Surviving Summer] was so Australian with the surfing and the lingo,” she said.
“Having just come from Byron, where I had been experiencing the surf culture, it was very cool to see it in a television show and it felt very relatable.

Returning as executive producer/showrunner is Warren Hutcherson. He was Season 3 Ep/showrunner Eunetta T. Boone’s No.2 and took over as showrunner following her sudden death during production. He will be joined by Alison Taylor (Just Jordan), who has come on board as Season 4 executive producer, alongside Raven-Symoné and Hutcherson. Filming on the new season will start later this year.
Raven’s Home is a spinoff of Disney Channel’s That’s So Raven. Now, Raven is a divorced single mom of teen twins, Nia and Booker, and she’s not the only one in the family who can catch glimpses of the future—her son Booker has inherited her gift.

Oh snap! Raven Baxter is back.
“Raven has not changed,” Raven-Symone tells Et. “I think Raven Baxter is still that fun, kooky, crazy, down for whatever, here for friends girl. But now, she has kids. So, she’s a lot more [about] teaching them to be just as crazy as her, in a loving way.”
Raven-Symone, 31, returns to Disney Channel on Friday with Raven’s Home, a sequel series to her hit, That’s So Raven, which stopped airing new episodes a decade ago.
“Oye, I thought it was longer,” she jokes. “I feel like it was about 15 to 20 [years] … I had never seen a show born from the ground up, as I've seen Raven’s Home grow. So, it's a little bit like, 'Wow!’ I stepped outside of my body for a second, and this is actually happening.”
