We’ve all had those dreams of what we’d do if we won the lottery. Some people want a big house or a lot of cars, but in my heart, I know I’d spend it all on movie memorabilia. Iconic pieces of Hollywood history go up for auction every year, but a large majority of it is just way beyond the price range of the average fan. Propstore is hosting an auction in London next month, and one of the biggest pieces is the original C-3Po head worn by Anthony Daniels in Star Wars: A New Hope, but it’s just a little bit pricey.
The C-3Po head is expected to fetch anywhere between £500,000 to £1,000,000 at the auction, which puts it out of the realm of most of us. The piece is part of a collection owned by Anthony Daniels, which also includes C-3Po’s hands,...

Plot: In 1987, a slasher known as the Sweet Sixteen Killer claimed the lives of three 16-year-old girls. When the killer returns in modern day, a young woman figures out a way to travel back to ‘87… where she hopes to stop the killing before it ever began.
Review: Working with director Christopher Landon, Blumhouse Productions has brought us a few really fun slasher-with-a-twist horror comedies in recent years: the time loop slasher Happy Death Day (and its sequel) and the body swap slasher Freaky. Landon wasn’t involved with their new release Totally Killer, but the movie really feels like a companion piece to those Landon projects – and if you enjoyed Happy Death Day and Freaky, chances are that you’ll like Totally Killer as well.
The high concept gimmick in this one is time travel. The story begins on Halloween night 2023 in the small town of Vernon, which is still...

Live or die. The choice is yours. But if you reach ten sequels, shit’s probably going to get weird. This week, the Saw franchise returns with Saw X. Which means people really like to see other people tortured and I’m judging every single one of us. It also means the Saw franchise has done something quite special. Not many horror franchises make it this long. Not even Freddy himself has crossed the tenth movie finish line. Scream. Evil Dead. Child’s Play. Paranormal Activity. The Conjuring. Even when you include the spinoffs, none of them have hit ten films!
But Saw X isn’t the first horror franchise to reach that landmark. So, let’s play a game and take a look at how other franchises have fared in their milestone tenth installments…
Jason X (2001)
Walk into one room and bemoan Jason X and everyone will laugh and agree.

Quinn Monahan’s Spooktactular!, in many ways, is the origin story of the modern American Halloween Haunt. Through interviews, news reports, and archive footage the documentary tells the story of SpookyWorld, an infamous Halloween attraction like no other in the early 1990’s that laid the groundwork for seasonal mainstays like Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights.
Back when the best you could in October was go on a $10 Hayride through a tame scene of witches of scarecrows, SpookyWorld set the farmland of rural Massachusetts on fire with an independent theme park designed to scare your paints off. From its humble beginnings to its nationwide success, Spooktacular! charts the rise and fall of America’s first horror-themed attraction as told by the people who lived to tell the tale…

The sci-fi adventure horror film The Devil Conspiracy is set to reach over 1000 screens in the United States on January 13th, and the folks at distributor Third Day Productions have chosen to add some creepiness to this holiday season by releasing a clip from the film that previews the events of a “silent night, unholy night”. You can check it out in the embed above.
Directed by Nathan Frankowski from a script written by producer Ed Alan, the film has the following synopsis: A powerful biotech company has breakthrough technology allowing them to clone history’s most influential people with just a few fragments of DNA. Behind this company is a cabal of Satanists that steals the shroud of Christ putting them in possession of Jesus’ DNA. The clone will serve as the ultimate offering to the devil. Archangel Michael comes to earth and will stop at nothing to end the devil’s conspiracy.

It doesn't matter how many times a slasher villain dies, they will return. Even if a long-running film series has been stretched past the point of credulity, the villain will somehow be back. "Friday the 13th" has traversed Jason Voorhees' constant returns with little explanation, eventually clarifying that he is possessed by a demon (if one prefers "Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday") or that he is afflicted with a rare medical condition that allows his cells to spontaneously regenerate (if one prefers "Jason X"). "Halloween," meanwhile, has allowed Michael Myers' constant return by incessantly rebooting itself. At last count, there are at least five separate continuities across 13 "Halloween" movies.
In 1994, Wes Craven cleverly introduced an in-film reason for Freddy Krueger -- the undead, claw-handed dream demon from "A Nightmare on Elm Street" -- to constantly return. In "Wes Craven's New Nightmare," the filmmaker appears as himself to explain...

Since the dawn of genre cinema, horror movies have been thrilling audiences with gruesome death scenes at the hands of monsters and madmen. Over time, filmmakers even came up with the Slasher subgenre to thrill bloodthirsty audiences with a specific hunger for over-the-top simulated murder.
Of course, some of these cinematic deaths were bound to be stranger than others, with killers often utilizing unexpected tools to get the gruesome job done. With that in mind, we recently published an article spotlighting six unusual weapons in horror movies, hoping to celebrate the creativity behind some of these iconic death scenes. However, with so many homicidal movies to choose from, we could never stop with a single list. That’s why we’re back with six more of the most unusual weapons in horror movies, this time featuring a couple of suggestions from readers like yourself!
