Angelica Ross has spoken out about the alleged mistreatment she was subjected to throughout her time on the show American Horror Story: 1984, and show creator Ryan Murphy‘s failure to support her.
Ross starred in two seasons of the anthology series American Horror Story, as well as the series Pose, centered around the LGBTQ community in New York’s 1980 underground ball culture, both overseen by Murphy.
Ross recounted the “disrespectful” behavior she’d experienced. Ross described a crew member who wore offensive shirts on set.
“Every day, he was wearing a racist T-shirt. One day it was, ‘Build That Wall.’ The next day, it was white praying hands in front of an American flag, and it said, ‘I Don’T Kneel.’ Those are the ones I remember. This guy had a collection,” Ross told The Hollywood Reporter.

After a week of calling out “Pose” and “American Horror Story” executive producer Ryan Murphy, Angelica Ross has shared her salary and claimed that Murphy cursed her out after the production team “silenced her.”
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she also reiterates she is done with Hollywood and reveals she is moving to Georgia and going into politics.
The dispute with Murphy happened over a series of T-shirts a crew member was wearing. Ross described the shirts as “racist” and said they contained slogans such as “Build That Wall” and “I Don’t Kneel.”
One day while Ross was trying to focus on her scene, the shirts became too much for her. She left the scene, went into a production van and vowed she wasn’t going to come out until the man took off his shirt or turned it inside out. Producer John J. Gray later told...

Lisa Rinna is best known for playing the characters of Billie Reed on Days of Our Lives and Taylor McBride on Melrose Place… or at least she was, until she was featured on eight seasons of the reality series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. That may be what most viewers recognize her from these days. But Rinna recently left that Real Housewives show, and now Deadline reports that she has signed on to appear in an episode of the Hulu horror anthology series American Horror Stories.
The episode Rinna will be in is titled Tapeworm, and most of the filming of that episode was already completed before Deadline confirmed her involvement. That’s the only information that’s available at this time.

For Steven Canals, the co-creator of the groundbreaking FX drama Pose, highlighting the stories of the House of Evangelista was first a selfish act. However, days before the final chapter premieres Sunday, Canals said Pose has evolved to support, represent, validate and celebrate the members of the Black, Latinx, Afro-Latinx and LGBTQ+ communities and other marginalized groups.
“It will not be and it will never be lost on me that alongside Janet Mock and Ryan Murphy, that for us this show was created by and for our community,” he said. “I hope that if nothing else, all of the folks out there who happen to be part of the LGBTQ+ community and all of those folks who happen to be Black and brown, that they always know that I and all of my collaborators and this wildly talented and beautiful cast, that we will always have your back, we will always see you,...

FX’s award-winning series “Pose” is planning to return to production in October.
While the situation remains fluid, a member of the “Pose” crew is getting tested for Covid-19 this week in anticipation of the show starting to film next month, a source tells Variety. Production on season 3 was halted in March, due to the coronavirus outbreak in New York City and across the country.
“When production paused, I wasn’t shocked — I knew it would happen — but it was a bittersweet moment for me,” star Indya Moore told Variety in June. “On the one hand, if anyone had gotten sick, it surely would have spread fast. On the other hand, most folks working on a production are living paycheck to paycheck. So I was worried about how they are going to survive.”
Disney Television Studios declined to comment.

“Pose” fans will be having a ball.
FX has renewed the Ryan Murphy-created show, which is swiftly emerging as an awards contender, for a third season after only one episode of season 2 has aired.

The show features the largest cast of transgender actors in series regular roles ever, as well as the largest recurring cast of Lgbtq actors ever for a scripted series.
Season 2 flashes forward in time to 1990 when, on the heels of the ballroom community establishing itself in pop culture and going mainstream, the House of Evangelista is forced to reevaluate their goals.
