It's time for another Zack Snyder slow-motion extravaganza! Snyder's big sci-fi sequel "Rebel Moon — Part Two: The Scargiver" is now on Netflix, and the reactions ... well, they ain't great, folks. The first film, subtitled "A Child of Fire," didn't fare much better — it's currently sitting at 21% on Rotten Tomatoes. But what about Part Two? Sadly, it seems to be doing even worse than the original flick. As of this writing, "Rebel Moon – Part Two" has a terrible 15% on Rotten Tomatoes. And if you're thinking, "Well, that's just the critics! What are regular people saying about the movie?", you should also know that the film's audience score is a less-than-great 52%. In short, people don't seem to like what Snyder is offering here. Snyder has always had a tenuous relationship with critics, but this seems to be one of his worst-reviewed films to date. Even his cartoon owl movie has...

BAFTA threw up plenty of surprises and snobs in their nominations lineups this year with Best Actress one of the most intriguing and head-scratching categories of the year. “Killers of the Flower Moon” star Lily Gladstone was snubbed while Annette Bening (“Nyad”) also didn’t make the cut. Both of those performers were nominated at the Oscars, however.
Instead, the BAFTA nominees for Best Actress are Fantasia Barrino (“The Color Purple”), Sandra Hüller (“Anatomy of a Fall”), Carey Mulligan (“Maestro”), Margot Robbie (“Barbie”), Emma Stone (“Poor Things”), and Vivian Oparah (“Rye Lane”). Stone is the obvious frontrunner and the thespian at the top of our BAFTA odds chart for this category but one name in that list sticks out as a potential challenger: Oparah.
The British actress had a breakout year in 2023 with her role in Searchlight Pictures/Disney’s charming”Rye Lane,” which follows Oparah (Yas) and David Jonsson...

Ladies and gentlemen, blobfishes and goblin sharks, put your fins together for the long-awaited return of Arthur Curry, aka Aquaman, aka the King of Atlantis. The sea-dwelling superhero played by Jason Momoa has been away from the big screen for five years (aside from a post-credits cameo in "The Flash"), but this week he returns in "Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom." After three DC Comics-based box office bombs in a row this year, Warner Bros. is hoping to score a win with Aquaman's second solo outing -- but the signs so far aren't positive.
Between rumors of behind-the-scenes turmoil and a review embargo lifting just a few hours before preview showings begin in North America, some fans feared that "Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom" might stink worse than a fish market. Based on the first wave of reviews, it seems those fears were justified.

Ridley Scott’s “Napoleon” is a sumptuous feast for the eyes according to film critics who just saw the film. The movie, detailing the life of the Emperor Napoleon (played by Joaquin Phoenix) and his relationship as both a ruler and a husband to Empress Josephine (Vanessa Kirby) is “a lot of movie” according to critic and writer William Bibbiani.
The film will premiere in a truncated two hour and 38 minute cut in theaters, while debuting a four-hour cut on Apple TV+.
Many critics cited the biggest flaw was that it felt like the time had been condensed. According to IndieWire’s David Ehrlich, “Napoleon definitely feels like a 4-hour movie that’s been cut to ribbons, but it’s So funny during the first half when it’s all about Ridley Scott just reading Napoleon for filth and laughing at how embarrassing it is to be a man with ambitions.

Before Margot Robbie was Barbie, she was Harley Quinn, Naomi Lapaglia, Tonya Harding, and many more characters. There's no doubt Robbie loves her job as an actor, and while tackling the role of an iconic children's toy wasn't initially on her career bucket list, it's clear she's happy she took a chance with the role.
A month before the highly anticipated July 2023 release of "Barbie," Robbie spoke to Vogue about how playing the role never even crossed her mind. "It wasn't that I ever wanted to play Barbie, or dreamt of being Barbie, or anything like that," she explained. "This is going to sound stupid, but I really didn't even think about playing Barbie until years into developing the project."
And while "Barbie" might arguably be Robbie's most hyped-up movie in her career so far, it's by no means the only role she's slayed. Take a look back at Robbie's best movies below.

John Leguizamo has bluntly explained why he will not be watching The Super Mario Bros Movie.
In November, the Latin actor criticised the casting of Chris Pratt and Charlie Day in the animated film, which is out on Friday (7 April).
Leguizamo, who played Luigi in a 1993 live-action film based on the video game, described the casting as “backwards”.
Now, he has said there is no way he’ll be watching the new version, stating “hell no” when asked.
“I will not [be watching],” he told TMZ, adding: “They could’ve included a Latin character.”
Leguizamo continued: “They stopped the ground-breaking. They messed up the inclusion; they dis-included. Just cast some Latin folk.
“We’re 20 per cent of the population. The largest people of colour group and we are underrepresented.”
Speaking about his former role in November, Leguizamo highlighted the lengths the 1993 film’s directors, Annabel Jankel and Rocky Morton, went to in...

Viewers of Netflix’s latest No 1 film Murder Mystery 2 have claimed there is a “hilarious” error in the film’s title.
Released on the streaming service last week, Murder Mystery 2 stars Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston as a married couple who become embroiled in a madcap criminal plot.
The story follows on loosely from the events of 2019’s Murder Mystery, which saw Sandler and Aniston’s characters solve a mystery aboard a billionaire’s yacht.
In the sequel, they travel to a private island, and become suspects in a high-profile kidnapping case.
However, while the story does in fact feature a murder, viewers have pointed out that the mystery itself revolves around a kidnapping – making the title something of a misnomer.

Fans of The Super Mario Bros Movie have issued a warning to those planning on seeing the much-hyped animated film in cinemas.
Released on Wednesday (5 April), the film is an adaptation of the hit Nintendo video game franchise, and stars Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Jack Black and Charlie Day.
The Super Mario Bros Movie has been receiving poor reviews, including from The Independent’s Clarisse Loughrey. Meanwhile, gamers have praised the movie’s fidelity to the source material, and the plethora of Easter eggs contained within it.
As many cinema-goers have warned, however, one of the biggest Easter eggs will be missed by many who go to see the film.
That’s because it features at the very end of the credits. While the film also features a light-hearted mid-credits scene, The Super Mario Bros Movie uses the very end of its runtime to tease a major character from the Mario games.

“The Dk Rap” composer Grant Kirkhope has hit out at The Super Mario Bros Movie for failing to credit him.
Kirkhope created “The Dk Rap” for the 1999 Nintendo game Donkey Kong 64. Following its release, the track has gone on to become an iconic part of the famous game.
Prior to the release of The Super Mario Bros Movie on Wednesday (5 April), Seth Rogen – who voices Donkey Kong – revealed that the legendary tune would be included in the new film.
In response, Kirkhope expressed his excitement on Twitter, writing: “If you’d told me in ‘97, when I wrote the rap track in the history of rap tracks, that it would go on to be in a Mario Bros movie, I would’ve burst with excitement. Long live the Dk Rap!”
After seeing the film, however, the composer’s excitement turned to disappointment when he realised that he had not been credited at all.

“Rye Lane” may not have been the buzziest title at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, but it was among the event’s most broadly acclaimed. Commercial and music video director Raine Allen-Miller’s feature debut is about a chance meeting between heartbroken twentysomethings in Peckham. The multicultural, working-class British neighborhood is as integral to the romantic comedy as lead characters Dom (David Jonsson) and Yas (Vivian Oparah). Their stark contrast—he’s a timid accountant; she’s a livewire who works in fashion—makes them a classic odd-couple pairing. Across one serendipitous day, the two rediscover their zeal for love, life, and South London.
Critics are equally taken by “Rye Lane’s” performances and its vivid, textured filmmaking. Esther Zuckerman (IndieWire) writes, “Audiences will long for Allen-Miller’s heroes to get together, but will likely also crave the burritos they eat and itch to grab some pints and crisps with them.

Keanu Reeves is playing the strong and silent type in John Wick: Chapter 4, with only 380 words of dialogue in the whole three-hour movie.
The fourth instalment of the action thriller franchise, which is 169 minutes long, sees Reeves speak very few lines of dialogue, almost a third of which consists of just one word, such as “yeah”.
John Wick: Chapter 4 was analysed by The Wall Street Journal, which reported that “about 10 per cent of [Wick’s lines] are featured in the movie’s trailer, which makes the hero seem almost chatty”.
Wick reportedly says more in that 2.5 minute clip than he does in the first 25 minutes of the film.
Director Chad Stahelski explained that Wick, a legendary hitman in the criminal underworld, has very few lines because Reeves “stripped out roughly half the dialogue written for his character in the initial script”.
The longest line of dialogue that Reeves has is in a scene with co-star Hiroyuki Sanada,...

Fans of Luther have complained about an apparent plot hole in the new Netflix movie Luther: The Fallen Sun.
Released on the streaming service last week, The Fallen Sun follows on from the hit BBC series, and sees Idris Elba return as the maverick detective John Luther.
Spoilers follow for Luther: The Fallen Sun – you have been warned!
At the end of Luther’s fifth series, Elba’s character is arrested after failing to save his ex-lover-turned-nemesis Alice Morgan (Ruth Wilson).
Fallen Sun begins with Luther behind bars. While it is not revealed exactly why he is imprisoned, he was previously suspected of the murders of Alice, DS Halliday, Benny Silver (Michael Smiley), and Mr Palmer, an assassin.
As viewers know, he was in fact innocent of all the murders, despite a propensity for breaking the rules. However, it seems like he was convicted on at least one of the counts.

The Woman King director Gina Prince-Bythewood has said that she will “never get over” the film’s “egregious” snub at the Oscars.
Starring Viola Davis as the fictionalised leader of the real-life Agojie tribe, the film follows an elite unit of all-female warriors active in the historical kingdom of Dahomey. Thuso Mbedu, Lashana Lynch and Sheila Atim also star.
The film secured nominations at the Golden Globes, Baftas and SAG Awards, with Davis picking up a Best Actress nomination at all three shows.
However, when the Oscar nominations rolled around, not only was Davis not nominated in the Best Actress category, but the film failed to pick up a single nod.
Speaking to People, Prince-Bythewood said that the snubbing of The Woman King by the Academy reflected a “bigger issue” within the film industry.

Seth Rogen has talked about how “devastating” he finds negative reviews of his work.
The Superbad star, 40, said that over the years he has gained perspective on his creative successes and failures and is now “much better at dealing with it”.
Speaking on the The Diary of a CEO podcast, Rogen opened up about his own career self-doubt, and the effects of criticism on himself and others within the industry.
“It hurts everyone, very much,” he said. “I think if most critics knew how much it hurts the people that made the things that they are writing about, they would second guess the way they write these things. It’s devastating.”
Rogen continued: “I know people who’ve never recovered, honestly – a year, decades of being hurt by this. It’s very personal.

Jonathan Majors has commented on Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’s disappointing critical reception.
Majors stars as the villain, Kang the Conqueror, in the Paul Rudd-starring Marvel franchise’s third instalment.
Since its 17 February release, Quantumania’s dismal reviews have made it Rotten Tomatoes’ lowest-scoring sequel in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
It currently stands at just 47 per cent on the popular review aggregation site – now level with the lowest-scoring Marvel movie ever: Chloe Zhao’s 2021 ensemble feature, Eternals.
Majors was asked about his take on the film’s poor reception on IndieWire’s “Screen Talk” podcast this week.
“It doesn’t change how I see myself. Period. It’s all data,” Majors said.
“I’m a performance within a story. One thing I will say to my team as we’re leaving a premiere if they’re reading reviews, I’ll say, ‘How’s the movie doing?...

The performer behind the titular bear in Cocaine Bear has revealed what research went into playing the drug-fuelled animal.
The newly-released film, which is based on a true story, follows a black bear in Chattahoochee National Forest, Georgia, that goes on a rampage after consuming vast quantities of lost cocaine.
New Zealand actor Allan Henry – who has played orcs in Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit films and intelligent apes in Planet of the Apes – took on the role of “Cokie the Bear” as he was affectionately known on set.
In an interview with /Film, Henry spoke about his process for transforming into a 500-pound black bear.
“The challenge was trying to move as close as I could to how a bear would move, the pace that a bear would take, the way that a bear would breathe and explore the environment around them,” Henry said.

It was a record-breaking night at the 2023 Baftas on Sunday for the anti-war epic All Quiet on the Western Front, which became the most celebrated foreign language film in the organisation’s history with seven wins.
The movie now has the highest number of Baftas for a foreign language film, a record previously held by the Italian coming-of-age drama Cinema Paradiso, which claimed five in 1988.
As well as winning trophies for Best Director and Best Score, among others, All Quiet on the Western Front won the biggest award of the night. It beat out competition for Best Film from The Banshees of Inisherin, Elvis, Everything Everywhere All at Once and Tar.
In his acceptance speech, cinematographer James Friend said that the film’s message – that young people can be “poisoned by right-wing nationalistic propaganda” and that “war is more than an adventure” – is as relevant now as it was more...

That’s a wrap on the 2023 Bafta Awards – and there were certainly a few surprises this year.
The glitzy ceremony began with a high energy red carpet at London’s Royal Festival Hall on Sunday (19 February), with attendees and nominees strutting their stuff in haute couture looks.
Eddie Redmayne, Anya Taylor-Joy, Sheila Antim, and Lily James were among the best dressed, with stars such as Best Actress winner Cate Blanchett, Gwendoline Christie, and Sophie Turner wearing chic, all-black ensembles that personified gothic-chic.
This year’s ceremony was co-hosted by the somewhat incongruous duo of Richard E Grant and Alison Hammond, the latter of whom said she felt like a “competition winner” herself when she was on stage.
The night’s big winners included Irish dark comedyThe Banshees of Inisherin and Netflix’s All Quiet on the Western Front.
Austin Butler’s Best Actor win was possibly among the night’s biggest curveballs,...

Adam Brody says he felt like the criticism following the release of Jennifer’s Body turned him into a “punching bag”.
The 2009 horror-comedy received poor reviews when it was first released, but has since gained a cult following and been embraced as a misunderstood triumph.
Speaking to The Independent in a new interview, Brody admitted that the film’s reappraisal had “surprised” him “in a wonderful way”.
“It definitely was derided at the time and that felt a little unwarranted because I saw it early and I was like, this movie is great,” Brody recalled. “I was really happy with it and pleasantly surprised. I thought it’d be good and I liked it more than I thought, even.

The director ofThe Son has hit back against claims that the film is inauthentic in its depiction of mental health issues.
Starring Hugh Jackman, Laura Dern and Anthony Hopkins, the film focuses on a couple whose teenaged son (played by Zen McGrath) starts experiencing suicidal thoughts.
Directed by Florian Zeller, the filmmaker known for his Oscar-winning 2021 drama The Father, The Son has been received poorly by critics.
In a one-star review for The Independent, Clarisse Loughrey wrote: “There are no ill intentions behind The Son, but sometimes stories are so badly judged and naive in their execution that they turn ugly. That becomes especially clear when Zeller’s film reaches its conclusion, one telegraphed so early and with such gracelessness that it’s borderline parodic.”
Speaking to the Radio Times, Zeller addressed criticisms of the film, and outlined some of the research that had gone into making it.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has set an unfortunate new milestone for Marvel Studios on Rotten Tomatoes.
The film, released in cinemas on Friday (17 February), is now the lowest-scoring sequel in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Starring Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly and Jonathan Majors, Quantumania currently has an aggregated review score of just 51 per cent positive.
This places it below other MCU entries such as 2010’s Iron Man 2 (71 per cent) and 2013’s Thor: The Dark World (66 per cent), two films that are often considered the worst among the Marvel canon.
However, at the time of writing, Quantumania is not quite the lowest-rated MCU film entirely, with Chloé Zhao’s 2021 ensemble feature Eternals currently holing that dubious honour.
Eternals has a Rotten Tomatoes score of just 47 per cent. With reviews still likely to be added to the website over the coming days, it remains possible, although unlikely, that Quantumania...

Majors stars as the imposing supervillain in the soon-to-be-released third instalment in the Ant-Man saga starring Paul Rudd as the titular hero.
However, Majors revealed in a new interview with Vanity Fair that his Marvel journey was nearly over before it began.
Asked whether he had any trepidation about signing on to film several movies as the character, Majors replied: “No, not once I realized who the character was and the potential for the character. I hope this doesn’t bite me in the ass, but I walked out of my Marvel general [meeting].”
The Lovecraft Country star continued: “This was a long time ago. I had just gotten out of drama school and I’m running around town and I’m sitting in the office.

Andrew Schulz says that Jonah Hill and Lauren London’s kissing scene in You People was created entirely on CGI.

A fan of Knock at the Cabin has spotted an Easter egg which could tie back to one of director M Night Shyamalan’s previous releases.
The film, released in cinemas this week, focuses on a family staying at a remote holiday cabin, who are approached by four members of what seems to be a doomsday cult.
In her four-star review for The Independent, Clarisse Loughrey described the film as “a (largely) single-location, narratively straightforward horror that unspools the tricky moral conundrum at its centre with inventive, Hitchcockian flair”.
“Hopefully, Knock at the Cabin will serve as a reminder that Shyamalan should be celebrated as much for his craftsmanship as he is for his shock tactics,” she added.
The film stars Ben Aldridge, Jonathan Groff as the parents of young Wen (Kristen Cui). The four interlopers are played by Dave Bautista, Rupert Grint, Abby Quinn and Nikki Amuka-Bird.

Netflix’s latest No 1 film, the culture-clash comedy You People, has been torn apart by critics.
In a two-star review for The Independent, Clarisse Loughrey described the film as “culture-clash romcom wholeheartedly convinced it’s a satire”, and argued that it “wastes” the talents of Eddie Murphy and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
However, the movie, which also stars Jonah Hill, Lauren London, David Duchovny and Nia Long, has enjoyed a warmer reception on social media.
The film focuses on the conflicts between two families from different racial and religious backgrounds, and has been described as an updated spin on Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner.
On the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, the film currently holds a “rotten” rating of 45 per cent positive reviews – with an audience score of just 40 per cent.
However, viewers have praised the film on social media, with Murphy’s comic performance drawing particularly effusive praise from many.

Margot Robbie has described the note she gave director Damien Chazelle while filming Babylon’s many cocaine-snorting scenes.
In the film, Robbie plays a debauched actor during the silent film era.
Earlier this week, the I, Tonya star missed out on an Oscar nomination for her role in the film, but has drawn praise from reviewers including The Independent’s Clarisse Loughrey.
Speaking to NME, Robbie recalled shooting the scenes in which her character ingests cocaine.
“I think the only note I gave Damien… obviously there’s a lot of drugs in this movie and I play a character who does tonnes of drugs,” Robbie said. “But he would have them rack up lines of coke that were just like the size of hotdogs.
“I was like, ‘Damien, she’d be dead. This is an [overdose] situation. People are going to watch this movie and know that this is ridiculous.’”

Jordan Peele has finally given fans an explanation for one of the most widely debated moments in his 2022 horror film Nope.
The film focuses on two siblings, played by Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer, who encounter a strange UFO near their ranch in Agua Dulce, California.
One of the other plot threads follows Ricky “Jupe” Park, a former child actor who once survived a deadly rampage by a crazed ape on the set of the (fictional) 1990s sitcom Gordy’s Home.
In a flashback, we see Ricky as a child hiding while the ape attacks his co-stars. What catches his attention, however, is a shoe – balanced perfectly upright.
Later, the shoe is seen displayed in Jupe’s secret Gordy’s Home tribute room, still in the upright position.
Fans had long speculated over the meaning of the upright show. Now, during an appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Peele...

HBO’s live-action adaptation of The Last of Us premiered on Sunday (15 January) to rave reviews from critics and audiences alike.
As Louis Chilton wrote for The Independent, the series has broken the cardinal rule of video game adaptations – by actually being good.
The Last of Us – starring Pedro Pascal (Joel) and Bella Ramsey (Ellie) – follows the 2022 release of another beloved PlayStation classic adaptation, Uncharted.
Unlike The Last of Us, Sony Pictures’ Uncharted – starring Tom Holland as treasure hunter Nathan Drake and Mark Wahlberg as his partner in crime – was not received quite so positively.
“Tom Holland repeats his Spider-Man shtick in passionless video game adaptation,” read Clarisse Loughrey’s two-star review headline for The Independent.
Though the film mustered a more-than-respectable 402m (£329m) box office gross, fans were left disappointed at the result of what was supposed to be one of the best examples of the medium’s cinematic potential.

M3GAN, 2023’s newest horror sci-fi to release in cinemas, has shattered box office expectations and received widespread critical acclaim.
The thriller stars Get Out’s Allison Williams as genius roboticist Gemma who becomes the unexpected caretaker of her eight-year-old niece. When Gemma gives her niece a prototype of her new AI doll, M3GAN, the results are nightmarish.
Since its theatrical release over the weekend (6 January), the film has garnered a critics score of 94 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes at the time of writing.
While horror films are notorious for failing to impress critics, M3GAN seems to have subverted the genre’s typical pitfalls.
So, what exactly is it that some of the top critics are loving about the movie?
“It’s incisive, sardonic and totally mean-spirited,” The Independent’s Clarisse Loughrey writes in her four-star review. “Picture the Mean Girls queen bee Regina George if someone had given her a knife and a death wish.

Harry Melling has achieved something quite rare. At 10 years old, he stomped and screamed his way into what would become one of the biggest film franchises of all time, as the present-counting, cake-inhaling Muggle cousin of Daniel Radcliffe’s young wizard in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. But the actor has managed to wriggle free of that association, for the most part, and has whittled out a career playing some of the most fascinating, peculiar characters on screen. There was his haunting performance as a limbless artist in the Coen brothers’ anthology film The Ballad of Buster Scruggs. Then his role as a preacher who pours venomous spiders over his head in horror noir The Devil All the Time. Now, he’s playing the skittish, misunderstood young Edgar Allan Poe in gothic detective mystery The Pale Blue Eye.

A wild Avatar fan theory has been shared online that could have struck upon a major plot development in James Cameron’s forthcoming sequels.
Avatar: The Way of Water, the long-awaited follow-up to the 2009 film Avatar, was released in cinemas earlier this month.
Cameron has repeatedly stated that he intends to make another three films in the franchise (though he may not direct the fourth and fifth entries).
Minor spoilers follow for Avatar: The Way of Water – you have been warned!
The Way of Water brought back many of the actors from the original Avatar, including some of those whose characters had been killed off.
Sigourney Weaver played the scientist Dr Grace Augustine in Avatar, who died after being shot by Colonel Miles Quaritch (Stephen Lang). In the sequel, Weaver plays Kiri, a Na’vi teenager born from Dr Augustine’s avatar body.
Lang, meanwhile, also appears in The Way...

Netflix UK users have vented their fury after Matilda the Musical began streaming in the US.
The acclaimed musical film, adapted from Tim Minchin’s hit stage show, launched on the US version of the streaming site over Christmas, and currently sits near the top of its most-watched ranking.
However, because the film was given a full theatrical release in Britain by Sony’s TriStar Pictures banner, it will not arrive on Netflix UK until summer 2023.
It is of course, a double-edged sword, with many in the US lamenting the lack of a proper cinematic release for a film that has been praised as a “frothy, whimsical delight” by The Independent’s Clarisse Loughrey.
Nonetheless, many in the UK have bemoaned the delay between its streaming releases each side of the Atlantic.
“I’d been excited to watch Matilda the Musical all day and just realised it’s not added...

The luxurious Greek island estate where Glass Onion is set has been listed for sale on Zillow for 450m (£374m).
Wealthy fans of Netflix’s hit murder mystery sequel may end up disappointed, however – because the property doesn’t actually exist.
Released on the streaming service before Christmas, Glass Onion is a sequel to the hit 2019 whodunnit Knives Out.
Written and directed by The Last Jedi’s Rian Johnson, the film finds ace detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) embroiled in a murder mystery on the private island of tech billionaire Miles Bron (Edward Norton).
The island setting includes a gigantic crystaline structure (the “glass onion” of the title) built at the centre of a luxury villa.
A listing on the property website Zillow displays the island, described as “Glass Onion Greek Isle Commune: Multi-Layered Living in Paradise”.
The listing agent is named as Derol Zablinski, a minor character in the film,...

Glass Onion, the sequel to Rian Johnson’s hit 2019 murder mystery film Knives Out, has finally arrived on Netflix.
Glass Onion has been warmly received by critics, with The Independent’s Clarisse Loughrey describing it as “populist entertainment with its head screwed on right”.
It’s fair to say not everyone agrees, however.
The film sees Daniel Craig return as the ace sleuth Benoit Blanc, surrounded by a host of new characters played by Edward Norton, Dave Bautista, Kate Hudson, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr, Jessica Henwick and Madelyn Cline.
In addition to the core cast, however, Glass Onion also featured a number of high-profile celebrity cameos.
While most of these were hard to miss, there was one secret cameo that only came to light after the filmmakers gave it away.
Here’s a rundown of all the celebrity cameos in the film...
