“Let’s Fucking Go.”
Tom Brady’s notorious catchphrase (“Lfg” is the PG version) was how Fox chose to end its upfront presentation Monday evening, with Brady on stage joined by his Fox NFL colleague Michael Strahan, and celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay (also known for using the F word), shouting it to the rafters.
Brady, who retired officially last year, confirmed that he will indeed join the Fox NFL broadcast booth this fall, working as an analyst alongside play-by-play man Kevin Burkhardt and reporters Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi.
Brady was the closing event for the upfront, appearing a week after his Netflix roast made global headlines (fellow roaster and Fox personality Rob Gronkowski was also in attendance).
Brady, speaking to Strahan on stage, said the decision to follow through on his deal two years ago to join Fox after he retired was a “no brainer.”

Lego Masters host Will Arnett kicked off the 2024 Fox Upfront by introducing most of the celebrity players for the new season, including Jon Hamm, Olivia Culpo, Tom Brady and of course Rob Lowe, who he introduced as coming straight from St. Elmo’s Fire.
What else happened at the presentation in the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City? Read on.
Michael Strahan and Gordon Ramsay kicked off the show in the theater-in-the-sound setting, and it took all of 20 seconds before Ramsay dropped his first f-bomb. The duo riffed about their pairing as hosts and Ramsay cussed some more before they brought out Jeff Collins, President of Advertising Sales, Marketing and Brand Partnerships. “The Fox portfolio is designed to drive maximum impact for your brand,” he said in a statement that absolutely no one has ever heard before at a NY upfront.

Fresh from being roasted on Netflix, Tom Brady turned up to the Fox Upfronts.
Suited and booted, Brady discovered that he’ll be calling a game involving the Dallas Cowboys – the first time in five years that Fox is opening with a Dallas game.
“I know how important the Cowboys are to this network,” Brady said.
“I love being part of that Fox family,” Brady said. “Walking out of my first meeting with Fox, it reminded me of my amazing teammates. To be part of the game I love, to be part of the greatest telecast in football every single week, ultimately made my decision.”
Standing next to Michael Strahan, Brady joked that it’s “nice when you’re not hitting me”. He added that he didn’t do so well next to Strahan, whose New York Giants beat Brady’s New England Patriots twice in the Super Bowl.

“Dancing with the Stars” Season 32 is back and it’s a bit different Season 31 — including having a new (old) home. Here’s everything to know about the season.
Where is “Dancing with the Stars” Season 32 airing?
ABC and Disney+. That’s right. After one season exclusively on Disney+, “Dancing” returned to ABC for Season 32, which will also stream live on Disney+. It is the first series to be simulcast on ABC and Disney+. Episodes will also be available the next day on Hulu.
“I’m very happy we’re back on ABC,” Derek Hough told TV Insider in June. “I think it was fantastic that we moved to Disney+ for a season. It did great, but I think that there’s definitely [still] an audience on ABC, a very loyal audience that may have missed out on last season. It’s groundbreaking in that I’ll be on both platforms as the same time.

Tom Bergeron was once the host of Dancing With the Stars.
After being shockingly fired from the series in 2020 alongside then-cohost Erin Andrews, the series has struggled to fill the void.
Years later, Bergeron is opening up about the road to his departure to former DWTS pro Cheryl Burke on her Sex, Lies, and Spray Tans podcast.
Tom Bergeron Was Against The Series Featuring Political Figures
Bergeron had been vocal about not wanting political figures on the show because he believed that fans tuned into the show for escapism from what was happening in the country.
Initially, the host said that producers agreed, but it changed quickly when he received a phone call from a showrunner and a producer who opened up about the potential candidates for the season.
"And this former showrunner says to me, 'You might want to sit down for this last one.' I said 'Why?...

Tom Bergeron‘s 2020 firing continues to divide DWTS viewers. However, in a new interview, the television personality sheds new light on his departure from the celebrity competition series, claiming he “screwed” producers before leaving the series for good.
Ex-‘DWTS’ host Tom Bergeron says he ‘screwed’ producers after ‘they screwed him’
Tom Bergeron, who hosted DWTS from seasons one through 28, was a constant on the ever-evolving ABC series. From day one, he provided light banter while moving the live show along and, ultimately, became as integral a part of the series as its celebrities and dancers.
Bergeron remained DWTS‘ stalwart. He hosted alongside Lisa Canning in season one, Samantha Harris from seasons two through nine, Brooke Burke from seasons 10 through 17, and Erin Andrews from seasons 18 through 28.
ABC announced Bergeron and Andrews’ surprise exit in July 2020, stating that the show was heading in “a new creative direction.” Tyra Banks replaced Bergeron...

Tom Bergeron is opening up about his dismissal from ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, and the former host is not holding back.
The 68-year-old left the reality competition series in 2020 after being openly critical of the producers casting Donald Trump’s White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer in the show’s 28th season. Speaking with the Sex, Lies, and Spray Tans podcast, Bergeron detailed his perspective of the behind-the-scenes conversations that led to his ouster after hosting the hit show for 15 years.
Bergeron says that leading up to the fateful year, he had signed a new contract for three seasons. During a couple of lunches with various producers (whom he did not name), he urged them not to cast any political figures due to the pending presidential election and the increasingly divisive climate: “Make us the wonderful escape from all that divisiveness for two hours a week.” The producers seemingly enthusiastically agreed.

Marshall B. Grossman, a combative but well-respected Los Angeles power lawyer who repped the likes of Steven Spielberg, Clint Eastwood, J.K. Rowling and Netflix during his career and litigated the first successful consumer class action in California, has died. He was 84.
The Daily Journal reported his death but did not give details.
During his 55-year career, Grossman represented clients including Mariah Carey, Tommy Hilfiger, Dr. Dre, Larry King, Grupo Televisa, Apple Computer, Cirque du Soleil and Blockbuster in myriad legal matters. He also repped Billy Bush in the aftermath of Donald Trump’s infamous Access Hollywood tape in 2016 and TV personality Erin Andrews in her multimillion-dollar suit after she was photographed nude through a hotel room peephole and the images were posted online. Andrews, then working for ESPN, won a $55 million judgment.

It seems Travis Kelce has Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson to thank for somewhat kickstarting his rumoured romance with Taylor Swift.
Back on Aug. 3, exactly one week after Kelce revealed he tried and failed to give Swift his number, the Fox Sports commentators begged the popstar to give Kelce a chance, promising that Swift wouldn’t regret it.
Now, two months later — after Swift cheered on Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs two weekends in a row — Thompson is looking back on their public plea.
“Taylor, I don’t know what you’re doing in your life right now besides rocking the world. Please, try our friend Travis. He is fantastic,” Andrews said during an Aug. 3rd recorded episode of the duo’s “Calm Down with Erin and Charissa” podcast. “I know we’re not the best of friends, we’re not even friends, but I consider you one. Take us up on this.

As one of the most popular pros in DWTS history, Maksim Chmerkovskiy knows a bit or two about the chemistry of making a partnership work on the dance floor. He danced alongside 16 female celebrities throughout his career on the ABC series. However, even the most innocent dances could appear flirtatious. Chmerkovskiy explains why DWTS contestants catch feelings for their pros: “sexual energy.”

During an appearance on former DWTS pro Cheryl Burke‘s podcast, Sex, Lies, and Spray Tans, Chmerkovskiy discussed why contestants sometimes fall for their pros. People have been curious about Chace Crawford's love life since his early "Gossip Girl" days. The 38-year-old actor, who currently stars as The Deep on "The Boys," has had only had three confirmed relationships - although there have been plenty of rumored romances, including relationships with "Dancing With the Stars"'s Erin Andrews and "Twilight"'s Ashley Greene. Gossip has also swirled about possible hookups with everyone from "Gossip Girl's" Taylor Momsen to Lauren Conrad, although those are most likely just rumors.
While his relationships with Blake Lively's Serena and Leighton Meester's Blair on "Gossip Girl" were deeply chaotic and dramatic, Crawford's personal love life seems much more laid-back. The actor, who grew up in Texas and made his film debut in the 2006 supernatural drama "The Covenant," was cast as Nate Archibald in "Gossip Girl" in March 2007 and quickly become one of TV's most desirable bachelors.

After various bumps in the road, Dancing With the Stars Season 32 finally hit the air on Tuesday night.
What was once a perfectly satisfactory competition series has desperately struggled to recapture its former glory.
The biggest flaw in Dancing With the Stars Season 32 Episode 1 out of the gate is ABC's decision to eliminate a competitor during the season premiere.
We get it: You want the series to have stakes and highlight that anyone could be eliminated anytime.
But as a viewer, watching the arcs of the competitors is one of the best parts of the show.
Knowing what they've gone through and how they approach criticism delivers compelling stories that allow us to root for the people we like.
Unfortunately, by the end of the premiere, Matt Walsh's time on the reality TV hit was already over.

Taylor Swift’s presence in the bleachers — or rather, the luxury suite — to support Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce was the talk of social media over the weekend, and even quarterback Patrick Mahomes was part of the conversation.
Swift attended the team’s game against the Chicago Bears at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, with Fox’s cameras cutting to the singer frequently during the broadcast. Her visit followed media reports of a budding romance between herself and tight end Kelce, whose own third-quarter touchdown helped his team wallop the opposing squad 41-10.
After the game, Mahomes was asked during a press conference about Swift’s presence. “She’s a tremendous singer, tremendous at everything she does,” the reigning NFL Mvp told reporters. “I haven’t got to meet her, but I guess if she ends up being with Travis, then I’ll probably get to meet her at some point.

If there’s one thing Taylor Swift is going to do, it’s commit to the bit and see where it goes. On Sunday night, the singer attended the Kansas City Chiefs home game against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium. Swift attending a football game could count as a bit all on its own, but it was her being buddied up with Travis Kelce‘s mom the whole night amid rumors that she’s dating the tight end that really shifted Twitter (or X, whatever you want to call it) into comedy mode.

Fox made its annual upfront pitch to advertisers at the Manhattan Center on Monday afternoon, pushing the messages of Fox Entertainment, Tubi, Fox News, and Fox Sports, all while promising the audience that don’t worry, we’ll get you hammered soon.
Coming off of presentations hampered by the pandemic in recent years, Fox was back in nearly full force, with the writers’ strike limiting the number of network stars in attendance. The event also featured some football antics courtesy of Rob Gronkowski and some well-placed cursing by Gordon Ramsay.

It was standing-room only crowd at the Fox upfront — mostly because there was no place to sit. But there were cocktails and lots of f-bombs from Gordon Ramsay, who helped to keep the 55-minute presentation moving at NYC’s Manhattan Center Monday.
Just like it did last year, Fox unveiled its 2023-24 content slate without showing a schedule. Instead, there was lots of small talk about Fox Sports, Fox News, and Tubi. Here were some of the highlights:
There was an opening “act” featuring dancers in space suits, football uniforms and Masked Singer costumes. That’s all we have to say about that.
Fox Sportscaster Michael Strahan and an f-bomb dropping Gordon Ramsay opened the presentation by standing on top of a bar in the center of NYC’s Manhattan Center. Yes folks, presentation-goers could load up on booze — and stay standing — while seeing what the “Fox Community” has to offer.

“Dancing With the Stars” is coming back to ABC for Season 32, Variety has confirmed with sources.
The move to bring the reality competition series back to the broadcast network comes after the show aired one season exclusively on streamer Disney+. For its upcoming season, the show will air on ABC while also streaming on Disney+. In addition, the show will be available the day after its linear debut on Hulu.
Reps for Disney declined to comment.
The move to bring the show back to broadcast is not altogether a surprise, particularly given the news that the Writers Guild of America (WGA) officially called for a strike against the major Hollywood studios for the first time in 15 years. With the strike, scripted TV production is likely to be impacted, meaning unscripted fare like “Dancing With the Stars” will become even more important to networks and streamers.

As it enters its 32nd season, Dancing with the Stars is facing its most significant overhaul yet. Viewers will see all the shake-ups when the series returns to Disney+. However, will fans respond to even more changes for the longstanding reality dance competition series, or will they turn it off for good?

Big changes have affected DWTS before. However, they have not always been well-received by fans. Months after season 28 ended, it was revealed longtime host Tom Bergeron had declared his final ballroom winner. Out with Bergeron was his co-host, Erin Andrews, a former DWTS competitor.
Banks faced mixed reactions from fans of the series during her first year as the series’ host. Many viewers had difficulty warming up to the former supermodel.

Julianne Hough will replace Tyra Banks as “Dancing with the Stars” co-host and the supermodel believes there’s no one better for the gig.

Tyra Banks is ready to say goodbye to Dancing With the Stars after three years hosting the ballroom-dancing competition series.

Burke admittedly has nothing bad to say about Banks as the new host. However, she thinks something is missing from Dancing with the Stars that disappeared when Bergeron was replaced.
