The Hills co-star Brody Jenner is getting his own MTV series.
The network has committed to six episodes of Bromance, which has been buzzed about online recently. The show, from Ryan Seacrest's production company, will feature a group of "regular guys" who come to Hollywood and compete in a series of challenges from skydiving to dealing with the paparazzi -- in the hopes of ultimately being chosen by Jenner to become part of his entourage.
Along the way, contestants will be whittled down via Hot Tub Elimination Ceremonies after which rejected "bros" will be asked to leave the bachelor pad dripping wet in a swimsuit, luggage in hand. Bringing to mind various dating reality shows, contestants also will have shots at a "group date" and "alone time" with Jenner in every episode.
" 'Bromance' takes a successful TV format and turns it on its head," MTV senior vp series development Liz Gateley said. "Brody is the perfect fit for this concept; he is type of guy everyone wants to hang out with."
Seacrest and Jenner are executive producing with Eric Podwall.

Backstreet Boys star A.J. McLean is set to take a break from the ageing boyband for a series of solo shows.
The edgy pop star has just released tickets for two low-key concerts in California on Sunday and Monday.
A statement from McLean's manager, Eric Podwall, reads, "After 13 years with the Backstreet Boys, and 75 million records sold worldwide, A.J.'s excited to take a step out on his own and present his music, in his style."
McLean is also planning shows in Europe to preview a solo album he hopes to release later this year.
But Backstreet Boys fans need not fret as McLean has no plans to follow ex-bandmate Kevin Richardson and quit the group for good - he's planning to record another album with the group next year.
