Jordan Knight's first single from his upcoming solo studio album has got a music video. Coming out via E! Online, this "Let's Go Higher" video sees the New Kids On The Block member hitting a club and being surrounded by the ladies on the dance floor.
"[It] is the perfect first single because it's happy, fun and really upbeat," he told andPOP. "You want that first single to be something that covers the broad scope of the record." Of the music video, he gushed, "It was a lot of work because the song is happy and upbeat, but sometimes it's harder to translate that into video."
He worked on the "Let's Go Higher" with producer Colby O'Donis. He will include the single in "Unfinished" CD which is expected to arrive later this year. Talking about the other materials in the album, he revealed, "The rest of the album is basically just as upbeat,...

Jordan Knight's new single "Let's Go Higher" was released Tuesday (March 1), and it's a chugging club tune about hitting the dance floor with that special someone. The New Kids on the Block singer hooked up with onetime Lady Gaga collaborator Colby O'Donis, who wrote the song with the Knight in mind and felt it was the perfect track to re-launch his solo career.
"I had a track and I really liked this track. I needed a writer to see if they could put some good idea over it," Knight said of another song he had been working on. "I was always talking about Colby O'Donis. He's got a great vibe," he recalled, adding that O'Donis had something else in mind for the pop star.

A year after making an appearance on "American Idol" stage, Lady GaGa is heading back to the show. Announcing the good news was the dance queen herself. Through her Twitter account, she notes, "See you on American Idol. May 5th, Little Monsters." It is still unclear what song she will be performing.

Back in 1999, Eminem was best known as the slightly screwy, bottle-blond protégé of Dr. Dre. Ten years — and millions of albums — later, he's about to be known as the best-selling artist of the decade.
On Tuesday (December 8), Nielsen SoundScan — which tabulates the Billboard charts — released their lists of the best-selling artists, albums and songs of the '00s. And let's just say the past 10 years have been very good for Mr. Mathers.
Em sold more than 32.2 million albums in the 2000s, edging out the Beatles to claim the title of top-selling artist. The Beatles ended up with the decade's best-selling album (they sold nearly 11.5 million copies of 2000's greatest-hits comp 1,) besting the likes of 'Nsync's No Strings Attached (11.1 million copies sold) and Norah Jones' Come Away With Me,...

Lady GaGa will release the album across United States on November 24. The fresh materials come from the production hands of such names as Teddy Riley, Rodney Jerkins, Ron Fair and Fernando Garibay. Our favorite reality TV star turned soulful singer, Brooke Hogan, definitely got our attention when she preformed Live on Good Day NY earlier this week. She belted out those notes during her acoustic rendition of Hey Yo and she actually did a pretty good job doing it. It also didn't hurt having Colby O'Donis sing backup either. He almost drowned her voice out completely. With songs titled Ruff Me Up, Strip, and Handcuffed, Brooke is definitely pulling out the crowd pleasers. Wonder what the choreography for her music videos will be like? We can only sit and wait patiently. What do you think about Brooke's...

On Wednesday, I presented my picks for the Summer Jam of 2009 in my Bigger Than the Sound column (hint: get ready to hear a lot of Mariah while you tan). I got a lot of feedback from you guys about the piece, and for once, it wasn't all overwhelmingly negative or written in All Caps.
Actually, a lot of it was pretty great. Seems you guys care a whole lot about the Summer Jam Sweepstakes, perhaps even more than I do. You guys picked songs both obvious (Britney Spears' "Radar." A lot.) and, uh, not-so-obvious (something from Mandy Moore?!?). And some of you got really mad that I made fun of Wiccans too. Regardless, I got so many great suggestions that I decided...

Double Oscar winner A.R.Rahman is known to be a very shy and introvert kind of a person. Hence, it took us by surprise when we saw Rahman feature in a video of American hip-hop singer Akon. The video called 'Beautiful' features Rahman for just a couple of seconds. The Music Maestro is seen posing with a bevy of models and smiling in his trademark coy way. The video also features American pop singer Colby O'Donis and Canadian hip hop artist Kardinal Offishall After the double Oscar triumph, one must say Rahman is indeed making his presence felt on the international music arena slowly and steadily.

Over the past few weeks I pitted our forums moderators David "Guru" Shnelwar and Darrin "DoubleD" Dortch against each other to predict who'll win the Grammy Awards for best record, song, Album and new artist of the year. Now let's look at each pundit's Grammy predictions on a solo basis. Here's Guru's spin on the Grammys:
