Madi Diaz has enlisted singer-actress Lennon Stella for the blissful duet “One Less Question.”

According to Diaz, the song is about how real love requires no wondering. “How it feels when you know in your whole body that this person is in your life to stay,...

Willie Nelson has quite the busy summer ahead of him. That did not stop him from starting that summer early at the Luck Reunion Festival 2024 in Texas. For one song, “The Red-Headed Stranger” was joined onstage for a duet with a television icon and superstar. The two sang the Oscar-nominated song “Rainbow Connection.”

Willie Nelson made a “Rainbow Connection” with Kermit the Frog at his annual Luck Reunion festival on Thursday night (March 14th), bringing the Muppet out for a surprise appearance during his headlining set.
In addition to singing the 1979 hit together, Nelson and Kermit also played a gospel medley of “Will the Circle Be Unbroken,” “I’ll Fly Away,” and “Hard to Be Humble.” Check out video clips and a photo gallery of the performance below.

In a much-anticipated duet more than 20 years in the making, Willie Nelson was finally joined onstage by Kermit the Frog to perform “Rainbow Connection” together Thursday at the Luck Reunion.

Look, we’re not just tooting our own horn here when we say that Peso Pluma’s headlining set at the second night of Rolling Stone’s Future of Music showcase at the Moody Theater was the buzziest show in town on Wednesday. Fans started queueing up hours before the música mexicana megastar took the stage — one dedicated kid was there at 4 a.m., no typo — and all day, people were talking about the spectacle to come. But this is SXSW, and there’s never just one show worth seeing.

Oh, the humanity. An eight-foot bronze statue of Willie Nelson in Austin, Texas, was vandalized over the weekend, Austin’s Fox affiliate reported. Much of the base of the statue was covered in bright pink spray paint on Friday — to which we can only ask, “Why?”
Local cleanup crews were quick to remove the paint and clean the statue since the vandalization. Austin Police hadn’t responded to Rolling Stone’s request for comment on Monday regarding potential suspects or if the vandals had been caught.

Madi Diaz has teamed up with Kacey Musgraves for a new single titled “Don’t Do Me Good,” which is out now. Along with the release, Diaz has also unveiled details for a 2024 headlining tour.
“Don’t Do Me Good” is the second single from Diaz’s forthcoming album, Weird Faith, due on February 9th via Anti-. Musically, it is fairly sparse, with a piano and an airy drum kit carrying most of the arrangement. Overtop, however, Diaz’s and Musgraves’ voices come together to create a crisp, smooth blend of melodic harmony.
Tonally, Diaz wanted the song to “feel like calling your friend” to commiserate, and having “that person say ‘Yeah, I’ve been there,’ and share that experience with you.” Lyrically, she was inspired by the dynamic of a struggling relationship. “This song is about that person that we keep coming back to,” she said. “No matter...

Fresh off a stint opening for Harry Styles, Madi Diaz appeared on CBS Mornings to perform a trio of songs off the Nashville singer-songwriter’s standout 2021 LP History of a Feeling.
Transforming the “Saturday Sessions” set into a spacious wheat field, Diaz delivered “Crying in Public,” “New Person, Old Place” and “Resentment” from her most recent album, her breakthrough solo LP after years spent writing songs for Little Big Town and Kesha; “Resentment” was previously performed by Kesha (with Brian Wilson!) before Diaz laid down her rendition for History of a Feeling.

“I think about you in the morning,” Madi Diaz sings in her latest single, “Hangover.” “I guess that means you’re still important.”
“Hangover” features a churning guitar and steady percussion. The video shows Diaz waking up out of bed and grappling with the loss of a relationship — much like the bulk of her recent record, History of a Feeling.
“I wrote ‘Hangover’ with Jesse Thomas and Drew Pearson when I was still feeling the lagging throws of heartbreak — the waking up in withdrawal, aching, reeling over a person and...

Little Big Town are partying “All Summer” with the group’s buoyant new single from their forthcoming new LP.
“I know it sounds cliche / Making eyes across the pool all day / And I don’t need you but it feels that way / And I don’t ever let myself feel that way,” the band sings. “But here I am, getting tan, drinking wine on the water / And it’s easy and it’s fun / If you want it and if I want / I’ll be your dream in-between in your meantime lover / All summer.

Harry Styles covered one of Wet Leg’s deliriously cheeky post-punk tunes, “Wet Dream,” during an appearance on BBC Radio One’s Live Lounge.
“Wet Dream” proved to be — unsurprisingly — a perfect fit for Styles, from its uptempo pop-rock energy to the unabashedly raunchy lyrics, which the pop star delivered in his always effortlessly cool and captivating croon: “I was in your wet dream/Driving in my car/What makes you think you’re good enough/To think about me when you’re touching yourself?”

It’s Harry’s House and we’re just the king’s unworthy guests. On Thursday, Harry Styles announced a fall residency tour, which will see him make stops in major cities New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, and Austin, in support of his forthcoming album, scheduled for May 20.
The set of shows serves as a seeming continuation of his massive 42-date Love on Tour from last year. This time, though, he’s converting arena venues into Harry’s House as he performs songs from his new record in just a few cities.

Days before they head out on tour together, Madi Diaz and Waxahatchee have teamed up for a new version of “Resentment.”
The track — originally from Diaz’s History of a Feeling and previously recorded by Kesha — gets a cozy Americana makeover, with Katie Crutchfield taking the second verse.
“I’m so thrilled to have been asked to reimagine the song,” Crutchfield said. “I listened to that album more than anything else last year and I think Madi is one of the most talented and exciting people putting out music right now.

Madi Diaz was psyched when she heard that Kesha wanted to record her song “Resentment,” but learning Brian Wilson would sing on it too put her in a state of disbelief. “That was just fucked up,” Diaz says, breaking out into a laugh. “I called my dad and said, ‘I just need you to know that this is happening.’ The very idea that somebody like that would even listen to a song that I wrote is weird, crazy, and unfathomable.”

Kesha has released a new country-inspired single, “Resentment,” featuring backing vocals from Sturgill Simpson, Brian Wilson, and singer-songwriter Wrabel. The track is from her upcoming album High Road, out January 31st.
The “Resentment” visual is a simple, two-minute clip, self-shot by Kesha on her iPhone and paired with a VHS filter. It shows the pop star breaking down and confronting her inner demons in a hotel room, as the song plays over her.
“Resentment” was co-written by Kesha, Wrabel, Madi Diaz, and Jamie Floyd, and produced by John Hill. On her collaborators,...
