Diversity
Sky in the U.K. has released its latest Diamond diversity data, reporting progress towards diversity targets for original U.K. productions. The Diamond system was created by the TV industry’s Creative Diversity Network (Cdn) to allow broadcasters to collect and use data to track representation across a wide range of characteristics.
Updated numbers show that 25% of Sky’s on-screen talent now comes from Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic (Bame) backgrounds, surpassing the broadcaster’s initial 20% target. Sky has also reported improved minority representation in senior production roles, reaching 10% for the first time ever. Among writing positions, Bame representation in drama and comedy reached 17%, 9 points up from Sky’s full-year report shared earlier this summer.

There's nothing quite as British as a good old garden shed, a space which Channel 4 will explore in a newly-commissioned daytime original series.
With a working title of Barnfinders, the show will feature cluttered sheds and barns across the nation that are hoarding lost treasures, from motorbikes to antiques.
Each episode will see presenters Henry Cole (World's Greatest Motorcycle Rides) and Simon O'Brien (To Buy or Not to Buy) picking four items from a neglected shed.
It's their job to research the history of each object, before restoring them to be sold on.
Channel 4's head of daytime David Sayer said "We British love our sheds, but often we ignore the treasure chest of items we have stored in there.
"This is a really interesting new format for Channel 4 Daytime, and I am excited to see what items will be uncovered from our nation's sheds."
No launch date has been announced yet.
