John David Duggar and Abbie Grace Burnett seemingly have one of the more playful relationships in the Duggar family.
Aside from Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth, they are the couple who travel frequently and enjoy outdoor activities.
Abbie often shares photos of their adventures, which usually feature their two children, Gracie and Charlie.
Abbie and John David are always on the go, from trips to the beach to strawberry picking. With his pilot license intact, they can jet away to places that aren’t quickly accessible by car.
This time, though, the couple took their adventure to the river.
And the children didn’t appear to be along for the ride (or float).

Actor Denzel Washington’s son John David Washington added to his resume by starring in the Christopher Nolan sci-fi feature Tenet. John David was already featured in several films by that point, but Washington found Tenet to be one of his son’s biggest films.

It seems Nolan had his eye on John David for a long time. Long before Tenet even went into production, Nolan stumbled onto a few of the actor’s earlier projects. He was more than impressed by what Washington brought to the table. In an interview with Esquire, it was noted that Nolan first became aware of John David after seeing him in the HBO series Ballers. From there, his interest in the actor grew after seeing the premiere of John David’s critically acclaimed film Blackkklansman.

John David Duggar and Abbie Grace Burnett showed up and showed out for their family Easter photo.
The couple shares a daughter, Gracie, and son, Charlie.
While Counting On was filming, Gracie was born, but Charlie was born after the show was canceled. However, Abbie has been good about keeping their followers updated on their lives and sharing photos of the kids as they continue to grow.
It was clear that the Easter celebration was held at the Big House, as the photo shared caught the corner of the house.
Abbie puts work into what her children wear, and it’s evident in the photos they share. She doesn’t necessarily align with all of the Duggar rules, as both Gracie and Charlie are some of the best-dressed grandchildren.

John David and Abbie Duggar took a break from the Arkansas winter to enjoy fun in the sun. The Duggar couple took to Instagram this week to share a couple of shots from their recent vacation to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. While most of the snaps were completely mundane, Duggar family followers quickly noticed that the duo appeared to enjoy alcoholic beverages while vacationing in Mexico. Drinking is against Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s rules. While it is still shocking to see a Duggar holding a drink, John and Abbie aren’t the only Duggar couple who don’t seem to have a problem with indulging occasionally.
John and Abbie Duggar enjoy drinks in Mexico
Duggar family vacations are not big news. The supersized family seems to spend a lot of time jetting around despite losing their moneymaking show, Counting On, several years ago. What isn’t typical is...

John David Duggar and Abbie Grace Burnett are soaking up the sun.
The Counting On couple is on vacation in a warm and sunny place, and it looks like their children didn’t come along for the ride this time.
They seem to travel more than they used to, and John David is back to piloting again.
Since the show was canceled, John David and Abbie haven’t talked much about their lives publicly. They update social media, keeping followers up to date on fun things, pictures of their kids, and some of the ventures Abbie has chosen, but not much about what John David does is discussed.
Based on what Abbie shared about their latest vacation, it seems he is flying and transporting “clients” where they need or want to go.

Jana Duggar is one of the biggest Duggar mysteries out there.
She and her twin brother, John David Duggar, celebrated their 34th birthday earlier this year.
While John David is married with two little ones, Jana is still single and is inching closer to 40.
As the eldest Duggar daughter, she has helped raise and school the younger siblings with her other sisters, Jill Duggar, Jessa Duggar, and Jinger Duggar.
When the daughters began having children, she also helped babysit and gave them help around the house.
Perhaps that is what drove her away from social media.

Abbie Duggar, the wife of John David Duggar grows on Counting On fans, but now they suspect she started a new business. Not that long ago, TLC fans shouted her out for breaking Jim Bob Duggar’s dress codes. However, it doesn’t take long to change the minds of critics.
Abbie Duggar Trained As A Nurse
TLC fans hoped that John David would allow his wife to continue nursing after they married. However, that didn’t happen or it only happened briefly. Nevertheless, she did consider it during the pandemic, and Counting On covered that in Season 11, Episode 1. By then, the TLC star had welcomed her daughter, Gracie, and she decided it wouldn’t be worth putting her child at risk. Now, fans think she started a new business with hair products.

Abbie Grace Burnett teased an announcement was coming, adding that it wouldn’t be what followers thought.
Naturally, because she is married to John David Duggar, the first thought of many was that another baby was on the way. Their children Gracie and Charlie get plenty of attention, but they aren’t adding to their family — yet.
Instead, Abbie’s “big announcement” was that she was joining the Monat team.
Monat is a multi-level marketing company, and their products are focused on hair care.
The former Counting On star shared a quick reel with some before and after pictures of her hair. She talked about struggling to get her curls back in a healthy place and revealed Monat did that for her.
However, her followers weren’t as happy as she probably hoped they would be.

Actor Denzel Washington hasn’t played too many villains in his various films . But two of his famous famous villain roles were characters his son helped persuade him to do.

On my way down to Tribeca to meet actor John David Washington for lunch, I had a lot of questions swirling in my head that made me nervous about our encounter. I am meeting a man who comes from a Hollywood dynasty of sorts. Washington has had so many experiences, what questions could I possibly ask that would make our conversation relatable and engaging. John David is the oldest of four children and his parents are two-time Oscar winner Denzel Washington and actress/singer Pauletta Washington.
At the age of seven, he appeared as a student in a Harlem classroom in Spike Lee’s 1992 feature film Malcolm X, which starred his father in the titular role. As he grew older, his interest shifted to something a bit more physical. He started his professional football career at Morehouse College in Atlanta, and then signed on with the St. Louis Rams as an undrafted free agent.

All throughout his career (but especially post-Weinstein), writer-director David O. Russell's name has been dogged by controversy, including but not limited to allegations that he groped his transgender niece, mistreated Amy Adams on the set of "American Hustle," put Christopher Nolan in a headlock at a Hollywood party, and head-butted George Clooney on the set of "Three Kings." Russell has been the subject of hacked Sony emails, leaked set videos, and no end to moral indignation, so maybe part of the reason he's been laying low the last seven years (his last film was "Joy" in 2015) is that he was waiting for the controversy to blow over. It hasn't — not online, at least — but within the film industry, Russell still has A-list actors lining up to work with him on the strength of his past work in films like "The Fighter" and "Silver Linings Playbook."

The footage shows John David repeating each letter after his mother. When he gets to "Z" the toddler giggles and gives himself an adorable round of applause. John David's mother, Hannah Marlin, says her son, who has Down syndrome, has been working on his ABCs for the past two weeks. "We were trying to get him to say them and he just started doing it so clearly!" Marlin, 23, tells People.

For more than three months, Josh Duggar has been entrenched in scandal.
Since police reports surfaced in May that revealed the 27-year-old had been accused of molesting five underage girls as a teen, Josh resigned from his position at the Family Research Council, and his family's reality show, 19 Kids and Counting, was canceled in the wake of the revelations.
And Josh admitted on Thursday to developing an addiction to pornography and cheating on his wife, Anna, with whom he has four children.

Josh Duggar confessed to cheating on his wife, Anna, and revealed that he has "an addiction" to Internet pornography in the wake of reports that he had registered for Ashley Madison, a website that facilitates extramarital affairs.

"Off to a good start. Good height. Wow, look at him spin through the air. That's amazing. I don't understand why everyone is making such a big deal about this dive it looks fi-oh! Oh S--t! Ouch." That was basically our inner monologue when we first watched the video that's spreading over the Internet like the pink hue that surely spread over these two divers' backs after their dives at the Southeast Asian Games in Singapore. Their initial dives look solid...it's the landing in the water that really gets 'em. 21-year-old John Elmerson Fabriga and 17-year-old John David Pahoyo botched their dives so spectacularly that even they couldn't help but laugh at themselves. Josh Duggar is from Arkansas ... so it's totally cool if he dates his siblings. Back in 2008 -- long before Duggar's molestation past came to light -- he made a quip during an episode of what was then called "17 Kids and Counting." Josh describes a double date scenario with his then-fiancée Anna ... he ended up going with 2 of his siblings. Josh explains, "We chose Jana and John David. We thought why not, have a double date ... Just in time for Mother's Day, 19 Kids and Counting aired Jill's Special Delivery, a two-hour special that went behind the scenes of the belated arrival of Israel David Dillard.
From the baby shower all the way to the complicated, 70-hour delivery, no stone was left unturned in the episode that also had Duggar matriarch Michelle, 48, opening up about her own many pregnancies – including the one that sadly ended in a stillborn birth.

Josiah Duggar certainly picked a playful young lady to court.
Tuesday on 19 Kids and Counting's official page, in a video that coincided with the end of an episode dedicated to several other Duggars' weddings, fans got the first proper glimpse of Josiah's new girlfriend Marjorie Jackson and her sparkling personality.
Introducing the idea that she's "purposefully dating" the fourth Duggar boy, Marjorie teased that she is courting "one of the boys – and it's not John David, it's not Joseph, not Jedidiah ... it's Josiah!"

It's the Season 8 premiere of "19 Kids and Counting" Tuesday (April 1), and lots seems to be in store for the Duggar family this season. New relationships, travel, and of course, probably more babies. And we're finally going to meet Ben Seewald, Jessa Duggar's official suitor.
It was announced that Jessa and Ben had started courting (or, as the Duggars say, "dating with a purpose") in the Season 7 finale, and while we've seen a few pictures of him here and there since then, this episode was our first chance to get to know him. What's he like?
Well, he's just plain adorable. As two of the little Duggars say, "he's a Great guy ... and he's handsome." He's 18, the oldest of a family of seven, and a bit more of a laid-back, people-person than to-the-point, non-gushy Jessa. Both Michelle and Jim Bob are learning how to handle their daughter being in a forward-moving relationship.

Welcome to Season 5 of "Duck Dynasty," Robertson family fans. While the men from Louisiana have been in the news a lot over the last two months, there hasn't been a new episode of "Duck Dynasty" since Halloween, besides the Christmas special.
We're sure you've caught up on any episodes you missed since then, however, with the near constant marathons. And, in case you were wondering, Phil Robertson's much-publicized suspension and subsequent reinstatement by A+E didn't result in any "Phil-free" episodes since the show was on hiatus from filming during those issues.
So, on with the reality television show, as they say.
In tonight's kick-off, we get a double shot of "Duck" -- back-to-back new episodes, starting with "Boomerang Becca."
We meet Rebecca Robertson, adopted honorary daughter of Willie and Korie Robertson. She's been in off interning in L.A. for two years, and she's back in the other La: Louisiana.

The offseason’s over — it’s time to stop fussing over what’s been said and let the duck calls do the talking. Willie’s adopted daughter has arrived, Uncle Si’s sick, and Phil is still Phil. Welcome back to ‘Duck Dynasty.’
Duck Dynasty returned to A&E recharged and fully staffed on Jan. 15, with Phil Robertson still at the head of the family, and new characters like Rebecca Robertson, Willie‘s 24-year-old adopted daughter, stepping in to shake things up. And because everyone seems to hang on the Robertson’s every word, let’s recap the premiere (and the follow-up episode) by counting down the shows’ best quotes.
‘Duck Dynasty’ Season 5 Premiere: The 5 Best Quotes
“Group texts are the worst. They’re like a terrible, technological snowball, coming down a mountain, and you can’t stop it.” – Jase Robertson
To be fair, Jase is totally right on this one.

Back to back Duggars this week: we get to see how Josh and his wife Anna are managing in the big city, as well as the rest of the family back in Arkansas, who are doing some house cleaning, Duggar style. Which means on a big scale.
Michelle takes baby Josie to visit the Arkansas Children's Hospital doctors and nurses in the Nicu. If you don't remember, Josie was born three months early due to Michelle developing pre-eclampsia, and the entire Duggar family relocated to Little Rock for six full months while Josie grew in the Nicu. Michelle takes time to go around the hospital to meet with the families who are going through the same thing she did, trying to reassure them that Josie is doing well, and praying their babies will too. She's a nice lady.
Meanwhile, keeping up with Josh and Anna separately from the Arkansas contingent...

In light of the Onion’s failed attempt to satirize the casual misogyny that infects pop culture, I thought we might talk about satire that works. What are some great examples of Hollywood satire -- TV or film -- that works? And does satire need to sting in order to be great? I’m gonna pick one of my favorites, from Saturday Night Live in the 1980s: the assassination of Buckwheat by John David Stutts. The extended bit sent up, among other things: • American network television news -- which was then just starting to feel the heat from new competitor CNN -- and the way it can lock on to a juicy story and not let go • lurid obsession with celebrity • how advertising saturates media • the elevation of homicidal criminals to folk heroes • gun culture and the easy acceptance of guns in everyday life • the lack of care for the...

Founder of Goldcrest Films with a string of Oscar-winning movies to his name
It is a mark of the wide-ranging success of Jake Eberts, founder of the once-mighty Goldcrest Films, who has died aged 71 after suffering from cancer, that few headline writers summing up his life could agree on his most notable producing credit. Was it Chariots of Fire (1981), Gandhi (1982) or The Killing Fields (1984)? The Name of the Rose (1986), Driving Miss Daisy (1989) or Dances With Wolves (1990)? Easier instead to herald him as the man whose films won a staggering 37 Oscars.
From the mid-1970s onwards, Eberts combined business acumen and creative energy with an integrity much admired in the film industry. The actor Kevin Costner, with whom he worked on Dances with Wolves and Open Range (2003), said of him: "Hollywood is full of people who either have intelligence or integrity. J.D. Souther Studio 201 July 21, 2012
Fans of '70s rock know John David "J.D." Souther's work even if they don't recognize his name. Linda Ronstadt, always good with a bittersweet ballad, made several of his highlights of her mid-decade LPs. Fellow Detroiter Glenn Frey and Souther hooked up again after both had moved to Los Angeles, and this eventually led to Souther co-writing several of the Eagles' biggest hits.
Those who do know his work swear by his output for the talented if commercially unsuccessful supergroup Souther-Hillman-Furay Band, and his occasional solo LPs offered his own versions of his songs made familiar by others plus plenty of "deep tracks." But after his fourth solo LP in 1984, he didn't release another one until 2008' If the World Was You. Fortunately he's kept his comeback going, and the opportunity to hear him in a very intimate setting arose thanks to a friend...
