Six strangers wake up in the same room and are forced to take part in an experiment where only one will survive. They have two hours to make their decision as a group in The Eyes, a new suspense thriller from director Robbie Bryan. With The Eyes now playing in select theaters, we had a chance to catch up with Bryan for our latest Q&A feature to discuss the movie's incredible journey to getting made, the "visual ballet" of the movie's most challenging scene, and much more.
Thanks for taking the time to answer some questions for us, Robbie. What made you want to bring this screenplay by Robert T. Roe’s to life on the big screen?

Six strangers sit locked in a room, miserable and forced to reckon with the choices they've made: The action in Robbie Bryan's The Eyes is not entirely unlike the scene in any theater playing it — except there, nobody's threatening to kill viewers who understandably choose to forfeit what they spent on their ticket and leave before the end. A sometimes laughable game-of-death drama that has been beaten to the punch by many other (much better) similar flicks, it is likely to vanish unseen, despite the pull of some established names in its cast.

Congratulations to "Black Hat" writer-director Robbie Bryan! The project received the most votes to win January's Project of the Month. The prize is a consultation from our Project of the Month partner, Tribeca Film Institute. Here's a look at the film's pitch: "Dandi Chiapetta" is an alternative teen who is into everything anime and the band Slipknot. Bullied for her love of this art form, she still has a dream. To get to a convention halfway across the country where her favorite anime Director, Shinichiro Watanabe, is going to turn one amateur manga comic into an anime. When all else fails, she "kidnaps" her estranged grandfather, in a nursing home, and races to get to the convention in time. Judging by our Fb page, which has over 228,000 "likes" already, worldwide, this film and subject matter has huge potential. For more information on this project, visit its Project of the Day page.

Filming has just wrapped on Choose, a new drama that aims to raise cancer awareness, it has been announced.
The short film is now going into post-production to gear up for screenings at festivals.
For horror scream-queen Brooke Lewis (pictured above), who has a supporting role as Erika, it was a chance to work again with filmmakers Robbie Bryan and Christie Botelho.

Have you ever heard that saying: "if you have nothing good to say then don't say anything at all?" Well, if this reviewer followed this motto then we would not have an insightful review of iMurders, a limited released film that is now available on DVD as of October 14. Also, a film that weaves far too many plot devices in a short ninety-eight minute run time, while commenting on the anonymity of the internet iMurders is just passable as a horror feature. Can the actors save this sinking script? Let us have a look.
Warning: only brief attention will be given to the plot as touching on all the plot devices would easily fill a page and a half. Let us say that a cheating husband kicks off a revenge plot with several innocent members of a Facespace chat room...

From the moment iMURDERS (just out on DVD from Anchor Bay) begins, the viewer is struck with a feeling of, to use on-line slang, Wtf? Halfway through the credits is a video interlude depicting a cheating husband getting busted by his wife, and a subsequent gunshot. We don’t see the faces of anyone involved, or even who takes the bullet. Once the remaining credits come to an end, this event isn’t brought up again for more than half the movie; we literally forget all about it until the shooting resurfaces. What unspools instead is a thinly veiled morality tale for the Internet generation, hiding behind a murder mystery.
As the story proper begins, we meet Sandra Wilson (Terri Colombino) as she’s about to move into a new apartment. Having learned about the listing from one of her on-line friends, Sandra is eager to show her less tech-savvy...
