Edgy thriller Dark Hearts, starring X-Men: First Class actor Lucas Till, has been nominated for the Best International Feature award at the Raindance Film Festival 2012.
The new movie, from first-time feature director Rudolf Buitendach, will have its world premiere at the festival this Saturday, September 29, at 8.30pm.
Till's other credits include Battle Los Angeles and Walk The Line. In X-Men: First Class, the rising star (pictured above and below) played energy-blasting mutant Alex Summers (aka Havok), the brother of Scott Summers (Cyclops).
Dark Hearts also stars Kyle Schmid (The Covenant, Being Human, Copper, A History of Violence) and Goran Visnjic (Elektra, ER, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Beginners), and introduces Sonja Kinski (daughter of actress Nastassja Kinski and granddaughter of Nosferatu star Klaus Kinski) in her first leading role.

A 26-year-old mechanic from West Bromwich has officially changed his name to Buzz Lightyear.
