Even though it’s not the guest stars who make the show, but the regular cast, there is some magic about one-episode characters played by someone the audience knows and loves. Just like every major procedural on TV that has been running long enough, NCIS had its fair share of actors, hosts and even political figures joining the team.
Here are 8 biggest names who have joined the NCIS family throughout the years, and where exactly in the show you can find them.
Troian Bellisario
Best known for her portrayal of Spencer Hastings in Pretty Little Liars, Bellisario appeared in two episodes of NCIS as Agent McGee's sister, Sarah. Her appearance on the show before her big break is easy to explain, as Troian is the daughter of Donald P. Bellisario, the mastermind behind both Jag and NCIS.

This article contains spoilers for the TV series Pretty Little Liars.
Several characters took on the villainous mantle of ‘A’ across Pretty Little Liars’ seven seasons. Some were the true masterminds behind the plans for the Liars’ downfall, while others served as minions on the ‘A’ Team, there to do ‘A’s’ bidding and keep tabs on what the Liars were up to. Not every ‘A’ or member of the ‘A’ Team is equal though, with some being significantly more terrifying than others.
Here’s every person who was officially part of the ‘A’ conspiracy ranked by general scariness as blackmailers, stalkers, and criminal masterminds and by how satisfying their reveal was in the series.
13. Lucas Gottesman, Melissa Hastings
Lucas (Brendan Robinson) and Melissa (Torrey DeVitto) are tied for last place because both really only joined the ‘A’ team because they were being blackmailed themselves. Lucas does work with Mona...

Twenty one seasons in, and NCIS can still come up with surprises for its characters—and the actors as well! Take, for instance, the March 25 episode, in which McGee (Sean Murray) learns about a close relative he was unaware of thanks to DNA results. “I was surprised to find that one out, too,” Murray tells TV Insider. Something tells us it’s the last thing McGee expects when his wife, Delilah (Margo Harshman), starts him on the path. “Delilah is trying to force him to get into a genealogy, track your ancestors down kind of thing, and McGee is sort of anti that at the beginning because he thinks it’s ridiculous,” previews Murray. “And then as soon as he starts, he finds out that he’s got a long-lost relative somewhere, and that freaks him out pretty good. But he goes down that rabbit hole.” Speaking of relatives, what...

2023 will forever be the year of "Suits," despite the fact the show ended back in 2019. Why's that? Because Netflix has reinvigorated the interest in the show. In fact, the streamer has made the legal drama nothing short of a sensation, prompting series creator Aaron Korsh to offer his theory on the series' newfound success. There's even a new show set in the "Suits" universe in development, which follows months of speculation that the series would return in the wake of its resurgent popularity.
But if the show proper did return, one big question many fans would have is whether Patrick J. Adams' Mike Ross would be involved. Originally, "Suits" was based around the central conceit of attorney Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) sneaking Ross and his preternatural legal talents into his law firm despite the fact that he never went to law school. But by the seventh season, Adams decided to...

Sometimes, the show simply must go on -- even without its own lead actor. After performing well enough to justify nine total seasons on the USA Network, "Suits" has recently enjoyed an outright explosion in popularity since making the leap to Netflix. But while fans who had been along for the ride all along likely knew the writing was on the wall for both Patrick J. Adams (who played the smooth-talking attorney Mike Ross) and Meghan Markle (who portrayed paralegal Rachel Zane), binge-watching newcomers may have been surprised to dive into season 7 and discover that they were in for a world of change. But, in many ways, it was perfect timing for these characters to take their leave and sail into the sunset in happily wedded bliss.

More than a decade since it first premiered, "Suits" is having a well-deserved resurgence thanks to its Netflix release earlier this summer. Featuring an all-star cast that includes Gabriel Macht (Harvey Specter), Patrick J. Adams (Mike Ross), Rick Hoffman (Louis Litt), Sarah Rafferty (Donna Paulsen), Meghan Markle (Rachel Zane), and Gina Torres (Jessica Pearson), the legal drama officially wrapped in 2019, though the actors' bond off screen has remained strong through the years.
In fact, several cast members and their significant others were even invited to Markle's royal wedding to Prince Harry in 2018, shortly after the Duchess of Sussex retired from acting. Jacinda Barrett wasn't the only cast wife to make a cameo on "Suits." In case you missed it, Troian Bellisario, "Pretty Little Liars" star and Patrick J. Adams's wife Irl, played a love interest of her husband's character, Mike Ross, on the series. Portraying lawyer Claire Bowden, Bellisario appeared in several episodes during seasons four and five as Mike's former flame.
We're first introduced to Claire as a legal-clinic intern in a season four flashback scene, where she's seen meeting Mike, a bike messenger. As the two become romantically involved, Mike lies about being a law student to impress Claire, which she later discovers and subsequently breaks things off between them. In the present, Claire returns as the opposing lawyer in Mike's first case as junior partner and quickly finds out he's practicing law illegally. Though Claire nearly reports Mike as a fraud, Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle) ultimately convinces her to keep his secret.

If you're just catching up on "Suits," you may have noticed the long-running series is packed with cameos connected to the cast in real life. One exciting appearance is by actor Jacinda Barrett, Gabriel Macht's real-life wife of almost 20 years. She plays Harvey's love interest in season two, a former lawyer named Zoe. Though the Australian actor is only in three episodes, the pair's chemistry is undeniable.
In season two, we learn that Zoe, a fellow Harvard Law School graduate and former Pearson Hardman colleague, dated Harvey five years prior. They reunite when Zoe is brought on as a jury consultant in Harvey's case, but ultimately, their relationship ends quickly as Zoe has to leave the state to take care of her niece. Zoe has since become a fan favorite of Harvey's girlfriends, though it's hard to rival Harvey and Donna's will-they-won't-they relationship on screen.

Brandon Larracuente is departing ABC’s The Good Doctor as a series regular. He could conceivably return as a guest star in the future, reprising his role as Dr. Daniel Perez.

Initially set to recur, he was quickly promoted to a series regular, with Daniel, a first-year surgical resident at St. Bonaventure Hospital, getting a major storyline involving a drug overdose that put him on probation.

Pretty Little Liars, the soapy teen drama based on the books by Sara Shepard, captivated audiences for seven seasons. The cliquey friend group found themselves being harassed by an anonymous “A” after the disappearance of their leader, snarky Alison Dilaurentis (Sasha Pieterse). But here was something the actor wished had disappeared with her character.

This holds true even for our favorite television stars, although they may not admit it until much later. One of the stars of the show Pretty Little Liars recently revealed that he was enamored with one of the other actors on set. NCIS’s Sean Murray recalled his stepsister Troian Bellisario “acting a little weird” around him when they first met.
The two became stepsiblings when Murray’s mother, Vivienne Murray, married the Pretty Little Liar star’s producer and screenwriter father, Donald P Bellisario, in 1998.
“[Bellisario] was acting a little weird around me when she first knew me,” Murray told Entertainment Weekly in a new interview.

Murray, 45, appeared in the original 1993 fantasy comedy film alongside Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy, when he was 14. Bellisario was eight at the time.

There are two pictures where we can see Lucy wearing what can only be described as a very chic blue and white oversized coat. The coat itself is a piece of art but is the way her long ponytail falls on her back that makes it stand out even more.

“Uncharted” fans were more than a little delighted when the original Nathan Drake showed up on screen toward the end of the film. And yes, Nolan North loved it just as much, but it was definitely a long road to making it happen.

This Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin article contains no spoilers.
When Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin was announced, fans of the original series were naturally hesitant. The show had only ended in 2017 and over the course of 7 seasons, the original became an iconic part of teen television that meant a lot to the people who watched it.
