The Film
At its most granular level, cinema is a delusion. By running still pictures in front of a projector at 24 frames per second, our brain is tricked into believing that they are moving. Further, each time we sit down in front of a film, we are asking to be transported away from our own world into one whose boundaries and conditions are set for us by the filmmakers, and to believe, for two hours or so, that this is a different reality that we are being allowed to experience.
At its broadest level, Arrebato is about two filmmakers. José (Eusebio Poncela) makes low budget horror. He doesn’t seem to like his films very much, but he’s clearly at least somewhat successful. On a location scout, he meets the other filmmaker, Pedro (Will More), who is in his late teens or early twenties, and makes experimental films playing around with frame rates.

I'm getting mixed signals from everyone!!
There are some pretty intense near events on Younger Season 3 Episode 10, and as a result our dear characters are experiencing a lot of different feelings, some of them life altering.
Will Josh (with the magical help of Manhattanhenge) break Liza like Diana's parrot broke her for Richard? Will more exposure work out in favor of Millennial Print?
Ok guys, I've been using Nuvaring hairbands for a couple years now, and I love 'em. Has anybody else tried them? I don't know how Nuvarings work, but I buy colored versions at Walmart from Scunci. No-Slip Grip. The clear are my favorite.
I am guessing Liza doesn't use the hairbands and the Nuvaring. That would be confusing.
It consistently surprises me that Liza can't get a good read on Josh. Is it because she really doesn't see how he's feeling or because she merely doesn't want to see it?...

Nearly a decade ago, author J.K. Rowling shocked the world when she revealed that the fan favorite Harry Potter character Albus Dumbledore was gay. This wasn’t revealed in any of the books. Had Rowling not said anything, it would have been a piece of trivia that never would have made itself known (although the hints are there if you look for them).
However, with the upcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them — a film set during the era of Grindelwald -- we know we will be seeing much more of Dumbledore in future films. Rowling herself has alluded to the fact that the man that Dumbledore may have been in love with is the villainous Grindelwald. With that in mind, one has to wonder that with this prequel series, if they’ll be exploring that territory on any level.

Marvel has released a new TV spot for Doctor Strange along with the message, ,,puᴉɯ ɹnoʎ puɐdxǝ puɐ ɥɔʇɐM ˙˙˙sʞɹoʍ plɹoʍ ǝɥʇ ʍoɥ ʍouʞ noʎ ʞuᴉɥʇ no⅄, As you can see, the new footage shows the Sorcerer Supreme seemingly stopping and reversing time, and that leads to a very trippy TV spot which is hard to follow, but also very unique. Will more like this follow? We'll have to wait and see for now. Spoilers: Luke Cage - 10 Awesome Easter Eggs You May Have Missed Doctor Strange follows the story of neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a horrific car accident, discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions. Set for release on November 4th, later this year, the cast includes Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwitel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Benedict Wong, Michael Stuhlbarg, Mads Mikkelsen, Tilda Swinton, and maybe even Robert Downey Jr. ,,puᴉɯ ɹnoʎ puɐdxǝ puɐ ɥɔʇɐM ˙˙˙sʞɹoʍ plɹoʍ ǝɥʇ...

One of summer’s guiltiest pleasures is no more.
ABC has decided to pull the plug on Mistresses, making the Season 4 finale, which aired on Sept. 6th, now a series finale.
Executive producer Rina Mimoun had told TVLine that she’d hoped for one more season to wrap things up, “There’d be some new hot messes in the mix, and we’d be moving back toward the kind of racy romp that Mistresses was when it began.”
Unfortunately, that’s not going to happen with Mistresses finding the end of the road long before the characters were ready to get out of the car.
That romp included everything from husbands back from the dead, affairs, accidents, threesomes, babies, and murder. The show was a soapy roller coaster ride from beginning to end.
The show was originally based on the U.K. series by the same name but took on a life all its own.

CBS' The Good Wife ended Sunday night on a note of deep, deliberate ambiguity that, for all its clever dodging of definitiveness, struck an oddly incorrect note. Nothing changes the fact that this was the best network drama of the past 20 years or so. Mad Men, by contrast, may have concluded on a note of crystalline, acidic perfection, but the show itself was often bafflingly uneven. I'll take Good Wife. I mean, it's not as if Kalinda Sharma lept out of the bathtub with a knife. Still. Spoiler warning: For those who haven't seen The Good Wife series finale, plot details will follow.

As the season two premiere of Fear the Walking Dead approaches, AMC Global and BT held an exclusive Q&A with the drama’s Executive Producer and showrunner, Dave Erickson. Discussing the dramatic development of the series and some of the new season’s ocean-set scenes, Erickson’s insights into the Mexico-based production are revealed below alongside the shows brand new key art:
How is “Fear the Walking Dead” distinct from “The Walking Dead” and is it easy to become hooked on “Fear” if you’ve never seen “The Walking Dead”?
Dave Erickson: It’s definitely easy, and you don’t have to know anything about “The Walking Dead” to become hooked on “Fear”. Speaking with lots of people – with the actors, the producers and some viewers – they all agree that the way we approached the story means you don’t need any prior knowledge of the comics or the other series.

Kudos to Terminator Genisys director Alan Taylor for not avoiding the question when recently asked about what seemed to be incredibly spoiler-filled trailers and marketing for the upcoming sequel. If you're unsure of what I'm referring to and would like to remain in the dark you'll want to stop reading now, otherwise, let's forge on. The trailers have given us not only a peek at old Arnold Schwarzenegger battling with a CG version of his 1984 self from the original The Terminator, but given away the fact Jason Clarke's John Connor in the new film is in fact a Terminator. In an interview with Uproxx, the interviewer says they wished they hadn't known these plot details from the trailer to which Taylor says, "Yeah, it's funny; I certainly directed those scenes with the intention that no one would know. One of my favorite moments - and I think Jason Clarke...

Pre-credit sequence. I already miss Jenn. Sigh. No matter what Mike tried to say at Tribal, Dan doesn't believe he's at the bottom of his alliance, insisting once again that beneath his seemingly passive game lurk schemes. Still waters, as we say, run Dan. Taking a break from brow-beating her about her stupidity, Dan is feigning sympathy toward Shirin, who feels like she was verbally assaulted by Will in the previous episode. She says she isn't a crier, but she has a Pavlov's Dog response to men attacking her, a thought that makes Shirin cry again. "All this drama makes Will an excellent person to take to the end," Shirin also laments to us. Putting on the hangdog of hangdoggiest expressions, Dan tells Shirin that he's sorry about what went down at Tribal. Do we believe a word out of Dan's mouth? Well, let's see what he tells the camera.

Things looked grim in Alexandria when we last left "The Walking Dead," as Rick put on a maniacal show while he beat Pete senseless, then waved a gun around while ranting about the community's need to change its ways. That display has certainly cast the constable in a new light for the Alexandrians, and will no doubt affect how the rest of his group sees him, too.
But how much will that divide play into the ensemble's dynamic going forward? And what does it mean for Rick personally? We have a lot of questions about the show as it heads into its 90-minute season finale on Sunday, and we've laid them out below. Here's (some of) what we hope to see addressed as the show ends its fifth season.
1. How will Rick's group react to his outburst?

Vince Sly does not have a feather in his hair as we talk in the aftermath of his "Survivor: Worlds Apart" elimination. We're on the phone, so I have to take his word for it. Vince also notes that he's not a coconut vendor, even if that's how he was introduced on "Survivor." He owns Coconut Caravan and that is, indeed, business that sells coconuts, but that's only a weekend job. He's actually a holistic counselor and owner of four art galleries. Yes, Vince says things like, "I’ll never badmouth anybody in the show because you really are the center of your own microcosmic universe when you’re out there. Every thought, emotion, feeling, sentiment you have feels like it’s going to alter all of existence no matter what you do." But he also says far more pragmatic things like noting that the difference between him and The...

[Youtube "suZcGoRLXkU"] The full trailer for Insurgent, the follow-up to March's blockbuster film Divergent, was released Friday, and fans of Veronica Roth's book series were surprised to see a mysterious box that featured prominently. "We found it," Kate Winslet's baddie, the Erudite Jeanine, says. "The future our people deserve." The box does not appear in Roth's best-selling novels. But theories about what's in it are already flying fast and furious on Twitter. "What does Jeanine think is in that box, Caleb?" Tris (Shailene Woodley) asks her brother (played by her Fault in Our Stars co-star Ansel Elgort). "I don't know,...

Will more kids drag their parents to see “Big Hero 6,” or will mom and dad take the family to Christopher Nolan‘s “Interstellar”? That's one of the questions looming over what is shaping up as the biggest box-office battle of the year this weekend, pitting Disney Animation's Marvel Comics-inspired kids film against Paramount's Matthew McConaughey space epic. The PG-rated “Big Hero 6” has a slight edge going in say industry analysts, who project that the family-targeting tale of prodigy Hiro Hamada and his robot pal Baymax will take in around $65 million over the three days. Fans of sci-fi and director Nolan.
