Anthony Ciccone made headlines earlier this year when he said that he is homeless and that his superstar sister, singer Madonna, doesn't care if he's dead or alive.
Now he's back in the news after being arrested Sunday (April 21) at the Grand Traverse County Civic Center, reports the Traverse City Record Eagle. He is expected to be charged with felony resisting and obstructing a police officer.
Ciccone was reportedly highly intoxicated at the time and received nine stitches on his forehead after a struggle with police when he refused to leave the civic center's bathroom.
Capt. Brian Heffner says, "He pulled away, turned around and confronted the female officer in an aggressive manner. She turned him around and brought him to the ground, which is when he struck his face on the bathroom floor."
The hospital that treated Ciccone's head injury says his blood-alcohol level was .40, which is five times the legal limit.

Madonna has never been universally loved (we’re still surprised hydrangeas haven’t risen up against her, The Happening-style), but recently events suggest that Madge’s approval rating is the lowest it’s been since we listened to American Life all the way through that one time. For example, Madonna was booed at her W.E. premiere at the BFI London Film Festival this weekend, reportedly after fans felt ignored by her brief stint on the red carpet. “I do know what it is like to be misunderstood on a global scale,” she told Sky News at the event. Good thing the world still has A League Of Their Own to balance out some of this Madge-centric negativity. We could watch that movie on a thousand-year loop and never get tired of it. Never.

Ciccone, 55, claims he's been living on the streets since losing his job at the family winery, Ciccone Vineyard, more than a year ago.
'I don’t have any income,' he told a local newspaper. 'I’ve got to go collect bottles and cans, do odd jobs."
But it gets worse. "If you spend enough time on frozen concrete without proper insulation you will get frostbite," Ciccone said. "You have no idea how gruesome it is. You get nerve damage. That’s the milder stage, in the severe stage you have tissue damage, that is...

Anthony Ciccone, 55, is one of many homeless people flocking to Michigan's Traverse City. We're guessing, though, that he's the only one who can claim pop superstar Madonna as a sister.
Ciccone tells The Michigan Messenger that he's been on the street for a year-and-a-half since losing a job at his father's vineyard (which does in fact market a bottle called "Madonna Wine").
"My family turned their back on me, basically, when I was having a hard time," he tells the newspaper. "You think I haven't answered this kind of question a bazillion times -- why my sister is a multibazillionaire, and I'm homeless on the street?"
He never does quite explain what led him to financial destitution, but holds forth on some of the more difficult aspects of street life:
"If you spend enough time on frozen concrete without proper insulation you will get frostbite, he says. "You have no idea how gruesome it is.
