Richard Cutting - Demo Reel
A native New Yorker, Richard Cutting (www.actorcutting.com), began acting in the 1970s on stage in classics such as The Alchemist by Ben Jonson and Tom Jones at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center. He is continually active in stage, film, television and commercial projects.
He also writes and executive produces feature films and a new noir web series.
Most recently, Richard finished the lead role of Owen Grey in the latest Kevin Kangas film, Garden Of Hedon. He has worked repeatedly on ABC's All My Children, and appeared in the Disney feature, National Treasure 2, with Nicolas Cage.
His other lead roles include the parts of Ian Gallagher, The Church, a TV series, Jake Martin in JuJu: The Witchdoctor Chronicles, The Man in Origin, Ethan in The Color Of Rain Is Red, and Reggie Pope in the Baltimore Playwrights Festival, world premiere of $40 Million, If You Want It.
He appeared in Indie the features The Weather's Warm When The Sun Is Hot, as Thompson, and in the Western Come Hell Or High Water (One-Eyed Horse) as baddie Creed Logan. In The Sins of the Fathers, he played Dr. Ben Nichols, a psychiatrist investigating a woman’s descent into madness. He has also appeared on The Wire, The FBI Files (Discovery Channel) multiple projects for The History Channel and on Psychic Witness (Discovery Channel). He did major roles in The Bronze Door and Macguffin (two Raymond Chandler stories), The Ward, The Sound of Traffic, and Past Perfect.
