The Devil Inside (2012)
Mediocre woulb be to much of a praise for this film
I highly recomend skipping this one, brings nothing new to the genre and what it does bring is mediocre at best.
Charlotte (2017)
Its pretty bad even by crappy movie standards.
Its so bad that if I try to explain all its fault on this single review it will turn out to be quite legnthy. And by lengthy I mean about 5 or 6 paragraphs. Do your self a favor and skip this one.
Russian Doll (2019)
A thought inducing story with great actors
Natasha lyonne portrayal of Nadia is fascinating. She brings a certain charasmatic feel to the character thats both charming and captivating.
The story can be at times a bit confusing and you may not get all your questions answerd, but it will leave you wanting to see more. The series as of now is very short with enough free time it can be watch in a single day. I highly recomend this netflix exclusive
Malevolent (2018)
Boring and disappointing
Poor characters with little to no development with the exception of jackson, but even his character isn't anything to write home about. A plot that dosen't know what to do with itself is another thing that irks me about this film. The only few positives is the acting done for the antagonist (not the proganist, she was mediocre at best) and the cinematography which was good.
V for Vendetta (2005)
A truly engaiging film about vengeance and freedom
Great character development with amazing heart moving scenes. Its a must watch.
Malicious (2018)
Nothing special.
The crappy dialogue was the first that grab my attention five minutes into the movie. Bland and unoriginal was the second.
Dexter (2006)
For those fans of serial killers look no further.
Dexter Morgan blurs the line between bad guy and good guy like no other. He is a calculating serial killer who lives by a code taught by his father to control the dark passenger that resides within him. A truly fascinating character. My main gripe with the series is that it lost a bit a of its edge early on, but regain it at the final season. If it mantain that dark feel that really set it apart I would have rate it even higher.
Orange Is the New Black (2013)
Great characters with great character development.
I've heard somewhere before that what makes a story great is when the characters moves the plot and not the other way around. I believe that this tv show do just that. The show has a plehtora of diverse, well developt characters with diferent motives and backstory for the audience to enjoy. The social justice part of the series can be a bit tedious at times, but its beareble.
Wilfred (2011)
A hilarious show at the surface with philosophical topics underneath.
Comedy is obviously subjective, but I would like to think that most people with some sense of humor would find this funny. What makes this show amazing isn't the comedy it's the character development of the protagonist.
Breaking Bad (2008)
The best tv show I've seen to date.
Amazing characters and storrytelling is what set this show apart from the rest. It's heads and toes above from most tv shows.
Lucifer (2016)
A truly fascinating show that offers it's viewers allot
The show offers great compelling character moments from time to time. And basically it. The show is driven by these good to great characters, but the storytelling can be somewhat flimsy to say the least, and it also can be predictable wich isn't allways bad. The show can be quite comedic and dramatic, if only the weak storytelling wasn't holding it back I would rate this easyly 9 stars.
Slender Man (2018)
Bland and uninspiring.
Less than stellar acting by certain people is one of the many things that holds this movie back. Its just bland and even boring at certain parts, wich is bad for any movie, but for a horror film is even more so.
Terrifier (2016)
Insanely disturbing moments and an unsettling atmosphere... thats about it.
A truly disturbing movie with great gory moments from art the clown but sadly thats all that it offers.
The VVitch: A New-England Folktale (2015)
A must watch for fans of horror/suspense movies and good movies in general
Loved it. Ive seen quite a few horror movies in my day and this one takes the cake. It has great nerve racking moments, good pacing and decent characters. Whats not to like?
