Scrubs: My First Day (2001)
first day
It's the first day for new interns John Dorian, Chris Turk and Elliot Reid. Both John "J.D." Dorian and Elliot are medical interns, whereas Chris Turk is one of the new surgical intake. J.D. and Turk are long established best friends, but they meet Elliot for the first time, thought it is certainly not the last time they spend time together! Throughout their first day, the interns are forced to face the realities of working in a hospital, and the pressures that go with it. They're aided by a few kooky characters, like the iconic Dr Perry Cox and the sweet but feisty Nurse Carla Espinosa. It's an eye-opening experience for all 3 interns, but ultimately their first day is a success and the series Pilot is a hit.
Scrubs (2001)
Just amazing
Every line, every joke, every illness, every facial movement, every body moment and everything that happens in the background is performed to perfection. So absolutely amazing it cannot be described. The script is written in a way which is both funny, and sensitive. Every character is weaved together through each and every storyline and yet, not once has the storyline been confusing or worse still, boring. The acting is immense, Zach Braff as JD is a revelation and he deserves every accolade he shall receive, and the exact same thing can be said of every single character, including the lawyer, Ted. He might not be a main character, or even an important one. But whenever he is needed for whatever reason, he stands out for his sheer brilliance and that is what makes the show work. They have a brilliant regular cast, and an amazing support cast who work together to produce on of the best shows ever made, and probably one of the best that ever shall be. It's not a must see though, no no. It's much more imperative you watch this than that.
