I love "Così fan tutte" and I followed this realization very carefully. The orchestral interpretation is acceptable, even if not particularly incisive (spontaneous the comparison with the performance of Abbado ...); I found the voices of Anett Fritsch more convincing than those of the voices, very well established and with an intense drama not separated by a good technique; dignified the others, even if the timbre of William and Don Alfonso tend to get confused. I find some choices of the director very questionable, as, in addition to a moderately excessive mobility, certain "feminist" attitudes of the protagonists or certain palpations to Despina by Don Alfonso, who do not seem to be part of the cynical spirit, yes, but also forbidden work. Finally, I find the choice of mixing contemporary and vintage costumes to be inexplicable: either one or the other!
