Birthright Outlaw (2023)
Splendid Family-based Western
It is such a joy to watch a western with the qualities that made this nation great when it was. When I watch a movie like this I understand that the values that this Western propagates are not the values of the past but the only hope for our future. It has elements of confronting one's past with deliberate honesty after having been delivered to a different path than that past life, and finding grace of God waiting in the end. It is a movie that looks to the future with hope and vigorous knowledge of the birthright the movie is alluding to in Christian faith, the birthright of his kingdom come and his will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Excellent movie!
Mob Land (2023)
Fantastic Moral Exploration of Justice
In this movie, you take a journey down the road of temptation coming into a man's life from two directions. First he has a short-term cash flow problem that hits him pretty hard and then you have the junkie relative who comes up with a solution that is no solution at all but a delusional trip through an addicts convoluted and impulsive mind and spirit. You can see first hand with the wife's uncle who is the addict, the whole process of him working hard to look like he is simply trying to help get his niece's husband's money situation resolved. Kevin Dillon did a fantastic job of playing the addict. He worked so hard trying to look like he was there because he wanted to save his niece's husband from his financial woes because he was FAMILY! Kevin Dillon's brilliance in acting came in the fact that you could see the falsehood and at the same time his actual complete investment in attempting to look sincere. He played the addict role perfect, someone who is attempting to use some relational position he has with the target, and a situational contingency that comes up that the addict, the ultimate opportunist turns into an attempt at the super con to get what he wants more than life. This is an excellent exploration through the rest of the film, of the value of having a strong biblical moral framework with which to build boundaries around yourself and your family so to keep dangers like the uncle at bay which means keeping people like this at a very safe distance, especially when you have a loving wife and child. Anyway it also is a movie that ultimately shows the truth of all life, in time and eternity; God's justice is coming. No matter how hard man tries to convince himself of the truth his delusional worldview which he derives from his delusional morality set up to try and justify what he does to satisfy his appetites, lusts and desires... God's Justice isn't contingent upon man's belief in it only deliverance from that justice requires belief.

How Awesome! A Family Adventure Scary Movie!
This was one of the best light scary / supernatural movies I've seen in a long time because it actually had a story based upon that which makes a story valid, integrity of relational structure. This was a family that had gone through a tragedy and they were sticking together as best they could through the efforts of leadership by a college age young man who was doing exactly as God designed us to do, to use our strength to be a blessing in every way we can, to those we are responsible for. He maintained the unity of the family by withdrawing from any selfish ends and took care of his little brother and sister. This was the setting to give this movie a perfect context for the plot and unified the story perfectly. There was even a young lady Who obviously loved this young man and admired his work on a project she was helping him with and encouraged and was integral to his completion of his project. It was so refreshing to see young people who respected each other and treated each other as valuable and their relationship as precious and a blessing. The splendid aspect of that part of the story is what occurred when the young man went through a tragedy and figured the responsibilities he now had would not be something the young lady would necessarily want to take on and so he left her room to exit without guilt or obligation. She was a splendid young lady and did her best to respectfully give him room to grieve while at the same time making sure he knew he was not alone and she was not a fair weather companion and potential bride in the future but she would stick with him no matter the vicissitudes of life. This was absolutely a diamond in the rough with the repulsing and depressing arelational, anti-relational content I constantly am turning off. Movies and television today are so blank and dark and schizophrenic, filled with relationless, foundationless, artless, faithless, Americanless and ultimately pointless paths of destruction of American movie and TV making which used to be the finest storytelling in the world grounded in the foundations of America such as family, success, teamwork, unity and the family and faith that were the foundation of it all. Storytelling has become so disconnected from any semblance of human experience that at best these modern movie making and television production attempts are artless frames of broken glass with torn, disjointed images of storytelling in the United States of America. It will be interesting to see the fall of Hollywood and mainstream media news as people look with longing, back to the '20s through to around the turn of the century when totalitarianism turned it all into a propaganda machine.
This movie was a departure from that dark abyss of nothingness vomited onto a screen competing to see who can create the most dystopian, hopeless, relationless impetus to national suicide possible. It is good to know that there are movie makers out there who actually know how to tell a story still, around the foundational elements of relationship given context in the bonds of Faith, Family, Loved Ones, Neighbors and Community. I look forward to the continuing demise of the propaganda network Hollywood and mainstream media has become. It has been so refreshing to see these new movies coming out from smaller studios that are crowdfunded and getting more and more professional and excellent as they continue to rise. There are so many of us interested in, following and investing in these new sources of movie and television making, like Angel studios, Epoch studios, et al. Movies celebrating faith, persevering hope, dedication, joy, goodness and loving kindness in community based in solid relationships instead of chaos and perversion.
This movie reminded me of what I used to see in American movies in the male and female characters; Movies and television that celebrates in men: responsibility, strength of character mind & body, righteousness, sacrificial leadership, perseverance in the face of struggle to a righteous end; And women we saw in movies: the deep and powerful influence of righteous integrity, the power of a woman's healing hand and spirit, the power of a woman of faith who by Righteous Beauty's radiant magnetism calls forth righteousness and justice from those men of true manhood under God, she bears the authority and power of creation, bearing of the future of mankind through her body and the shaping of that future in her nurture and indelible influence in the authority and power of motherhood. Keep these movies coming!
Monsieur Spade (2024)
Just excellent! Until...
I thought after the first episode: What a fantastic opportunity to watch excellent television in the tradition of what used to be American creativity and relational exploration of characters in various intriguing circumstances specific to the American experience and perspective and within the bounds of reality instead of the outlandish "break the barriers of morality and reality" & " invent new histories and delusional realities" writing of most of the content nowadays. This is why older movies and shows have become so sought after. After I watched the first episode Monsieur Spade, I was DELIGHTED in this story which I thought was going to give us a cold war intriguing mystery and murder plot. By the second episode I had most of the characters memorized and was excited about the climactic murder I knew was coming! The story hit a wonderful gold mine of possibilities with the eventual mystery that did arise. And then, almost convinced that this was going to be the best show I had seen come out of cable since the first and really the only Jack Ryan season and the Reacher series, the bomb hit. By the the third installment midway through we had downshifted into Muslim mysticism and Islamic Messiahs. To tell you the truth, it's going to be interesting watching the precipitous downfall of Hollywood, shift into a rebirth of creativity that will recapture America as it truly is and as it truly was. Shows like this are a great tease at first but then they jettison audiences from the United States of America from any part in the story and focus on foreign cultures and foreign religions and foreign audiences. I look forward to the day we get to watch a story from true, adventurous, victorious, faithful, persevering, fearless Spirit of American men and the return of actual women to the American movie scene and television scene instead of these contrived male done over female characters made to look like they are doing things far outside their physical capabilities and far outside the demeanor and attitude and honor and righteous strength and incredible power of true femininity, as American movies once captured. It will be a great blessing to see American movie making and television show making once again in time, instead of these politico religious attempts to erase American storytelling and America itself, through the medium of film and television. I wish you guys had kept up the excellent storytelling in the first two episodes.
Without Remorse (2021)
What has movie making come to?
I turned on a Tom Clancy movie thinking I was going to watch one of his intriguing international conflict movies with men fighting evil directly and with strength of mind, body and a decent morality. I turned on this movie and the first 10 minutes shows a Navy SEAL team with a 90 lb black woman as the SEAL teams commanding officer in the field! I don't care if she's black, white, purple, green, blue, whatever, this ridiculous looking scenario with Navy SEAL military equipment on this woman's body looking silly and giant compared to her frame just to make some kind of social engineering statement?!? Then it switches to the United States in the Pentagon where it finally shows her in a Navy SEAL uniform with ribbons on her chest and the seal insignia that very few men have the mental and physical capability to earn, much less a 90 lb woman unless you change what it means to be a seal and at that point the whole intriguing, glorious excellence and dedication of these men who pushed their God-given strength and dedication to the limits and beyond with the desire to protect the men , women and children of this nation from Evil tyrants who would force their will upon Americans, is belittled and lost. There is one scene where this woman goes face to face with the antagonist, in a scene where she is supposed to be popping up her chest and looking big and bad to threaten this man who is doing things that could cast her men in a bad light. That was one of the most silly, ridiculous scenes I've ever encountered in a Bee movie much less a movie that's been built up as much as this one has. I had to turn the TV off at that point because I was so embarrassed for this poor actress who I'm sure could do great in a role as an actual woman, in the strength of righteous womanhood. Movie makers, you've not only lost your connection to the people of this nation, you've lost your connection to reality as God designed it, obviously, clearly and without question. If you want to play games with deluding yourselves into thinking you do not live in a world with fixed spiritual, physical and social laws by which humanity finds true relationship and true meaning and true purpose under the God that created us, have at it! If you want to make skits for yourself all day and all night where guys become female impregnated aliens, do it, but leave us out of it and please get some people to make movies again that have excellent righteousness versus evil thematic elements, where men reveal the reason for and purpose for their being, bearing Authority and strength for the blessing and protection of others, not some made up morality and reality where dogs are supposed to marry cats and a lion can declare himself an elephant legally.
Genesis: Paradise Lost (2017)
Truth is so Obvious yet the LIE
Excellent production revealing the truth of a created Earth under uniform, absolute laws held constant in their physical governance of the circumstances of life as well as the moral spiritual governance of the circumstances of life. It is so sad that this nation has been so completely inveigled into believing what amounts to a substanceless phantom vision of a creation manifested from an elusive, dexterous, adroit, cunning, illusive deity called "evolution". What is so ridiculous is that these individuals who try to explain evolution, when it comes down to the actual catalyst and obvious intelligence behind the organized and governed Glory of creation, they begin to speak of evolution in the terms of an entity proactively manifesting the LIE they speak because they can't help speaking of the creation and its governance in terms of "EVOLUTION DID THIS OR EVOLUTION MANIFESTED THAT", they cannot help but speak of an intelligent determinant entity giving volitional integrity and ongoing progression of activity within the parameters of the physical and spiritual laws held constant by that entity they speak of but don't speak of AS AN ENTITY. The mental gymnastics trying to use circumlocution in avoiding speaking of the God they know is manifesting all in and around them is exhausting, I know, I used to be a deluded fool myself.
