The Idea of You (2024)
Best Rom Com in Years!
No word of a lie this movie has made me go out and buy the book to absorb this in multiple different ways!
Anne and Nick absolutely nailed their parts! I loved the cringy bits, I feel that's exactly what it would be like to have a 16 year age gap!!
This ticked all the romance boxes and brilliant tropes. Age gap tick, he falls hard tick, suspense tick, sexual tension tick, tearing the heart apart and putting it back together tick!
Not sure what people expect from a Rom Com I honestly don't understand the negative reviews! The second I finished I wanted to rewatch immediately!
What a blast! Enjoy the ride - you won't regret it!
Cheaper by the Dozen (2022)
Watchable but a little to "woke" for liking
Tries to cover too many social issues with no solid character building. I couldn't tell you what any of the childrens names were or anything about them.. a real missed opportunity.
The Guilty (2021)
Snore-fest
Don't bother. Super boring! Only watched until the end as I thought I'd get better but was sorely disappointed.
Sex/Life (2021)
So much potential, so little reward
Sex scenes 7/10! Not bad
Story line - 2
Ending - negative 1
I'm so disappointed, it really could have been great instead sucked (no pun intended)
Offspring (2010)
Nothing less than an Australian Masterpiece
The best Australian TV drama ever! It was a spectacular roller coaster from season 1-8!!
Funny, sad, happy, heartbreaking, sexy you name it- offspring has it!
Patrick will always be my greatest on screen loss, my heart still breaks.
Fatherhood (2021)
Feel good, watchable but lacked Depth
Definitely a watchable movie and overall I enjoyed however I think it had way more potential and really lacked depth. I wish it had of dug deeper into the struggles of raising a child solo, gender stereotypes etc all while grieving the loss of your high school sweetheart. Writing was a little lazy.
Fifty Shades of Grey (2015)
Love it!!
I can't believe so many of the negative reviews! I lovedddd this franchise!
The King of Staten Island (2020)
Train headed to Nowhere
Definitely some funny parts. However the movie was too long and didn't tidy up and loose ends.. what happened to his Mates? Did he turn his life around?
Did the mum and him get back together? Watchable but wouldn't recommend
The Christmas Chronicles: Part Two (2020)
The mind of magic that 2020 needed!
This was incredible, magic, funny & cute! Of course it's predictable... it's a children's Christmas movie! I really don't understand the bad reviews it's wonderful!!
Barbarians (2020)
Good but.. The dubbing is nearly unbearable
The story line is good, the actors are suited, great cinematics would rate a lot higher if not for the cheesy American accents that are dubbed... voices don't match up with the actors and is hard to watch past the terrible dubbing...
Kadaver (2020)
Surprisingly creative
Kept me on my toes, not overly predictable. Very watchable
The Lion King (1994)
Masterpiece
Would rate 100000000 if I could. Best Disney movie of all
The Voices (2014)
Appreciate it for what it is
You really need to take your mindset away from Ryan Reynolds' other roles and appreciate it for what it is. Exploring the mind of a seriously mentally ill schizophrenic man. The actual directing on this film is really good, it makes you feel so many conflicting feelings while watching, possibly just like someone would if they were Jerry. Definitely watchable
El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie (2019)
Snore
Really slow and quite boring compared to the series it lacked good pace and story telling
