CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: Unfriendly Skies (2000)
You can guess the ending of story but the whole deduction is impressive!
Given that all people on the flight are lying, you can imagine that the story is just like Murder on the Orient Express -- everyone on the first class is responsible for the tragedy. Though scriptwriters try to add some transitions, to indicate the death of victim is due to his own disease, but apparently it would not be -- this is CSI! And just like Agatha's story, no one is blame in the end. But for Murder on the Orient Express, it is because Detective Poirot thinks the victim deserves the dead so no one is charged. Here the mayor candidate (dislike) makes the decision just for his convenience. (actually I found a interesting point that this TV series is trying his effort to denigrate the incapability of government and FBI hhhhh
Then it gives the greatest moment for Grissom among all episodes in Season 1: while everyone is sharing his opinion on whether he should take the victim's life in order to protect other people on the flight, Grissom suggested that we should jump out of discussing whether the victim deserves death, but thinking about how other people could do better. If any of them takes care of this victim, you would understand why he acts so abnormally like a psycho.
I've finished watching the first season and this is one of the only episodes that simply talks about one case. So I would say this is a must-watch episode for you!

If I can implant some math in my dream everyday ....
Nolan is credible! We have a joke that if he keeps making movies then he would definitely owned all the places in top 100 XD
I believed the whole story is supported by scientific proofs as all the theory is so real. If feels so real that yes I sometimes feel like I can control the dream. Dream is actually a projection of subconscious, but architect can make use of it to make a infinite-loop world and trap people. However, all the people in the dream can also change it intentionally (like Arthur) or unintentionally (like yusuf wanted to pee then rain in the dream).
Nolan is a fan of geometry, as shown in interstellar as well. He plays great tricks on multi-dimensional world. Tom Handy is so charming, great impression on both Venoms and today's forger! And finally, respect to Leo! You never ended up your acting as you were famed in Titanic. You deserved Oscar!

if it is true...
The whole story is pretty simple but touching: Miguel was restricted by his families to learn music. At the day of the dead he accidentally walked to the land of the dead and figured out the truth, as well as the meaning of dream, love and death!
I am surprised by the idea of death Pixar introduces in this cartoon. Actually it is important for children to think about the world after death and realize what's important in their life. If the final death really refers to the moment nobody remembers in real life, then leaving some positive impact when alive is crucial in extending after-death life in another fantasy world. The meaning of life is not about length but depth :)
Also, death is not so fearful: dead people could walk across flower bridge and reunite with their family happily! Greatly appreciate Mexicans created such a memorial but fun festival!
Both of great great grandfather and great great grandmother are doing nothing wrong. The bond of blood is not the only thing that ties us, but love!
Wish all my pass-away families enjoy their moments in another world...

classic HK movie!
No one can deny how Chou is important in HK movie in 80s. You cannot imagine that he is actually an unimportant role in the whole story :)
It is not that kind of traditional police and gangster movie with only boom and block buster. The process of counterfeiting cash is also new to audience, at least to me! The mystery of "painter" is well worth discovering as the plots goes on. It is not simply about split personality as the usual movies, which is unable to finish a complete story without it. The ending matches "counterfeit" pretty well, given 90% of movies is talking about how they successfully cheat and hide.
The idea of the story is awesome! However, 2 points are deducted for ending. Don't know if it is for the reason to be on publicly for all audience. The final explosion seems unnecessary.
This movie still gives us hope as Infernal Affairs: HK movie is not dying.
Looking forward to the sequel! (I believe there will be)

devil is in the details
Amazing editing! Very innovative and fluent to see how plots are connected by "screen" action.
There are two layers of clues in the film. The first layer could be discovered by us, especially for those who are suspicious for plot reversal. However, we actually fall into the well-set trap. This layer of detail makes it reasonable to push the story forward, but it is the more hidden details impress me. For example, audience is easy to skip the first appearance of Robert in Pam's notes -- "had a crush with Margot" at the first glance. These kinds of details make the whole story complete and rounded. It worth watching the movie again to find out how the directors implicitly indicate the ending.
BTW, John is an excellent actor. I haven't watched his films before. But here he shows how an asian father get along with his family, which is different from what we usually saw in other movies.
Great movie in 2018!
