Captain Marvel (2019)

Fairly enjoyed it

I really don't understand how can some people give this movie a 1/10 as it is fairly entertaining to watch. CGI is awesome throughout the movie, scenes with Samuel L Jackson ate great. Brie Larson is a great option for the character, I think she carries that apathic persona but struggling with remembering her past. I really liked it and these reviews are just pure hate, not understanding why tbh.

IO (2019)

Slow for a post-apocalipse kind of movie

If you're a fan of apocalipse based movies, maybe this one isn't for you. The narrative is quite short and slow-paced, though interesting. No character empathy and almost to zero action. All in all, can't give it less than 5* because the camera work was great imo.

Mortal Engines (2018)

Great CGI and that's about it

Like many reviews said, you can easily spot other films' plots in this one. Predictable, basic and 0 empathy for characters. Save yourself some money and watch it at home when available.
