I Am Mother (2019)

Great Australian movie

If you're flicking around Netflix looking for something good. Definitely give I am mother a look. It's slow going at first but the plot has great twists and turns.

"Mother" is a great character from the start and will keep you guessing until the end. "Daughter" is well written and well acted.

Go on, watch it!

14 years since this show was made and it is still is the best show ever made. The writing was 1st class and the production second to none. This show would never be made today and that this a shame. I hope if you are thinking about finding this show to watch that you do.

AG came out the year I left high school at the time my fav TV show was the x files this gives you an idea of why I first got into this show. AG was a far better program with better writing but only got one reason? I know this is not the only program to only get one season another example that comes to mind would be the lone gunman (x files spin off) it had good writing and was funny but also only got one season. It does not seem right!

We also have to remember that this show was around before shows like twilight made dark shows 'cool' so I think this may have also let to the show going down hill.

Watch this program and enjoy it! 10 out of 10 for me.

I seen this show when it was on the ABC years ago. Was good to see the ABC have a gay person on TV. It showed how hard it can be for a gay teen to come out. (and he fact it was Heath wasn't too bad either) The show was a 1st on Australian TV, (I) had never seen a gay person on Australian TV that wasn't there for comic relief. At the time when gay teens all over the world where taking their own lives it was good to be able to see someone live through coming out to friends and family. a few of he actors from the show have gone on to have good careers in TV and film. Cheers to the ABC for offering this platform for Australian teens to launch their career. Anyway if you get the chance you should have a look it is a good show!
