Die in a Gunfight (2021)
How is this higher than a 1?
Pretentious cinematic excuse. 99% of the movie is just meaningless talk, the other 1% is suspect action. Male lead is absolutely underdeveloped and spends his time doing unclear things, female lead just talks (there might be a single twist in the movie, one, one for something that includes "crime" as a genre tag). You can nap while it's on and you won't miss a thing. Or you can just watch it and suffer like the rest of us.
Meander (2020)
Appallingly bad
Might have been good as a 15 minute short film. You spend an hour watching a woman go from the same tube to the same tube to avoid exactly the same fate. Then there is some existential nonsense in the end. And it also made sense to add all the possible items from movies about zombies and aliens. This made no sense and was brain killing boring.
Rogue Hostage (2021)
Ehrm, what?
This was one odd movie that centered about a bunch of people running around inside of supermarket. That is it. When it ended I had to check my remote to make sure it didn't randomly fast forward things - it did not. John Malkovich was great (duh), but outside of that I've no idea what I just watched.
In the Earth (2021)
Garbage
It's 1 star for this absolutely nonsensical acid trip with moronic premise plus 1 star because I spent the entirety of it playing with my dog. If you don't have a dog, watch your washer/dryer instead - it will be more exciting.
Locked Down (2021)
There is bad, and then there is this
I wasn't able to climb from underneath my weighted blanket to reach the remote, so I had to tolerate this garbage for two hours. 2 stars for Annie Hanthaway. Everything else here is absolute waste of time.
