The Happening (2008)
Brilliant!!!!!!!
Couldn't tell you how many movies I've seen and loved where the critics said it was awful. This movie had that M Night touch that I love. He can create suspense out of nothing. He also doesn't go through and overly explain all the details but presents some theories that keep you thinking days after. Now I'm not much of a Mark E Mark fan but I loved the fact that no one in the story is perfect and that everyone is just along for the ride in Natures destructive path. Was completely fascinating. I also thought that it was a nice touch to display our arrogance when dismissing the "Plant toxin" theory. I'm glad to say that I haven't seen a single M. Night movie that was disappointing. Even the village was brilliant though people seem to hate it. So if your looking at reviews to decide whether or not to go see this movie remember this. Everyone is different and critics make a living criticizing other peoples work. While real artists slave away to create something they just sit on their High chairs waiting to just cut someone down. Why not let the audience make up its own mind. That and also think of this, they are not you. They can no more tell you what movie your going to like than they can predict what your in the mood to have for dinner.

Look at these reviews. Five words. It...is.. a..Kids...Movie.
It is supposed to be fun and entertaining, and ya know what it actually did just that. You might as well compare Monte's "Quest from the holey grail" with "King Aurther" Relax and enjoy. I sure did, the effects were fun, over all I think the best scene was the Kitplane. I thought the Moster itself was of a pretty cool design and over all really enjoyed the fact they just decided to have fun. You cant expect someone to just be able to produce a star wars hit one after another. The only reason that was a hit was cause the stunning music and visual effects. the Story itself was borrowed from a collection of old stories. That, and it was a new up coming director at the wheel.

Flicks killer
I think anyone who can finish a movie is a winner. It is one thing to sit around talking about making movies; it takes a lot to actually do it. Flicks killer (who ever he is) probably is an angry man who will never amount to anything in his life, but sits back and criticizes everything everyone else does, especially with an alias name. I've scene this flick and it was decent, very good job. No I don't worship the ground Steven walks on but I do identify and connect with his movies. That is why he is a winner. If Jaws failed or any of his other movies failed, he wouldn't be where he is. So for the "long Pepsi commercial" it still had good intentions. How is that for wanting Names, how about yours (FK)?
