The Best of the Good Cop/Bad Cop Theme
6 July 2006
This movie was great. I didn't know what to expect when I rented this but I was pleased with the result. Lets start with acting. Russell Crowe exceeded my expectations and played one of the toughest, roughest cops I've seen. Guy as the nerdy simple cop was annoying at times but towards the end you start to like the guy. Kim Basinger played a surprisingly good performance with her smooth conversational lines and great scene presence. Spacey...although his time was limited did play the role of the wisecrack cop perfectly......spitting out hilarious laid back lines to add comedy to this drama. The character development in this movie is what I liked the most. Every character starts off with a simple label but as they get entwined in the mystery they start changing their attitudes...most of the time it was done so they can get to bottom of the mystery. You'll be surprised as to who is running this crooked cop gang........at least I was. The plot twists were amazing and just when you thought the case was solved they added in reasonable twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat. I'll admit the beginning was good.but towards the middle I started to get confused and bored but at the end.....they kick it up a notch and finish it all off with secrets revealed, puzzles put together, and a great gunfight. If you like cop movies then I suggest this one to start. I thought this movie was overrated on the top 250 but I was not disappointed. Overall 9/10

A Different Road for Sandler
30 June 2006
This was one funny movie. I saw this movie Saturday the 24th and I was left pleased. Sandler was again providing top notch comedy. The thing is though if you walked in expecting to get the same slapstick, anger managing, fight humor you usually get out of Adam. He plays a character completely different yet still very hilarious...sure he has a couple references and gags from his movies that he always uses but you'll still love it. Sandler plays a father and husband..a "trophy" wife played by Beckinsdale and 2 adorable children who provide great humor. The storyline is one we've seen before...slightly different from Bruce Almighty.........he doesn't have the power to change everyones lives.....he can just change his own. This movie is not a comedy all the way through. All though you'll enjoy Hasselhoff (though I didn't), Dratch, Sandler, and Winkler........... this movie has a some touching parts that may leave you tearing up or crying on the inside. The ending was quite shocking but it brought the movie to a suitable conclusion. Overall Sandler fans call this his best work...I wouldn't say that...but it was quite hilarious. I haven't seen a comedy this funny in a long while.

Better Than the Original
15 April 2006
Apparently its better than the 1960 classic. The director took a somewhat thin plot and he built on it and made this movie watchable. George Clooney shines as Danny Ocean making everything he does cool. His character is definitely like James Bond but more cheeky comments. Brad Pittt does an outstanding job playing the goofy right hand man. I didn't have much hope for him but he proved me wrong. Matt Damon plays the nerdy little Linus Caldwell to perfection. Andy Garcia as the villain is surprisingly well done and Julia Roberts plays the "EX" well. The plot was very cool which involved many twists and turns. They took the simple plot of robbing a casino and they added this HUGE twist at the end to leave you on the edge of your seat. The music here adds a nice tone with the sensational jazz tunes from David Holmes. Shows like Thief or Heist don't have enough....... originality or plot to entertain you. Ocean's Eleven is the original heist movie that is done to perfection. You cant beat the original. Definitely go rent this movie as you should be satisfied. If you rent the DVD be sure to check out the hilarious commentary from Pitt, Damon, and Garcia. Overall great heist movie that will leave you gripped and moved 'til the ending credits.

The Movie is Great
12 April 2006
This was a very nice film. I got this movie expecting to be confused and perplexed at some of the flashbacks but they made sense. This movie will leave you confused so feel free to rewind and re-watch scenes you don't get. I'll start with the fact that the actors were all superb. Samuel Jackson delivered lines whether they were taken out of books or just very genius. Travolta had great screen presence and I liked how laid back and cool he looked on screen. The hair-dos and don't's were all fun and sometimes you could laugh at some of them. Uma Thurman does a surprisingly great job as Mia and Bruce Willis did his role right as well. This movie surprisingly has a lot of humor from the funny exchanges between Jules (Jackson) and Vincent (Travolta) or if you can notice the cheekiness of Mia Wallace (Thurman). This film was well constructed mainly because there weren't any plot holes in it. Watching the first 2 hours will leave you a bit confused. Tarantino must have thought this as well so he goes back and fills in all the holes and gaps such as the retouching the pre-credit sequence so it has more meaning. There are some disturbing sexual content scenes in this movie that will leave you a bit disgusted (fast forward). Travolta and Thurman had good chemistry as well as Travolta/Jackson because they just were all laid back and cool. When it came time for Jackson and Travolta to get tough (since they are hit-man) they do it with vengeance. This movie has a happy ending that will leave you satisfied after this lengthy movie. Length definitely helped this movie out as it covered every aspect such as walking from a car and going inside an apartment. Nothing was rushed here and Tarantino made sure everything tied together despite having slightly different story lines. This movie has action, drama, romance, and crime all sewn in nicely to make sense. This movie does deserve its top 10 spot and it isn't over-hyped. This is a classic film that fans of Tarantino or his books will enjoy. In the end of it all I was satisfied.

Fantastic Movie
11 April 2006
What would you expect with a Wallace and Gromit Movie. This was a spectacular movie that delivered just about everything to satisfy its crowd. What I like about the movie is that it's very safe for kids. Lately the trend is for animated films to have adult references but this movie is for everyone. At most it will give kids a small fright but it will pass. The humor is very family friendly and very enjoyable. The characters in this movie are spectacular. We get Wallace and Gromit back but we also get more characters than any other W&G film. Ms. Tottington is a great laugh and she helps move the story along as the gullible yet lovable mistress. Victor the villain is very mischievous with his hunt dog. He seems to have the villain like roles rapped up along with some cruel humor of his. The other great characters like the adorable bunnies are fun to watch. The plot is very well put together and is a treat for Halloween Nights. What I enjoyed the most... was Gromit. I've never seen such character development without any lines uttered. Gromit's facial expressions tell you a lot about him. He is actual made to do more things and really.... take more action than ever before. The rivalries in this movie are very well done. The action scenes in here were great such as Gromit getting behind the wheel and chasing the beast. W&G have the same gadgets with lots of development to show that times have changed. Overall a smashing film for Wallace and Gromit. Glad Peter Sallis reprized his role as Wallace. 5 years were taken to make this film. They sure put their hearts into this well awaited film. A salute to a job well done from Wallace and Gromit.

Nicely Done Bond Film
26 March 2006
This was a good Bond film. I feel that negative comments for this movie are a bit much. Connery once again stepping into his comfort role as James Bond. It was also good to see Bond step out of his usual happy Bond self and we get a more serious Bond. James Bond is portrayed with less one-liners and he seems cold and relentless here. He reminds me of Dalton in this particular movie and I was pleased with the serious Bond here. Most people should like this if they want a close resemblance to Ian Fleming's character. People say Connery was bored but I didn't notice anything that showed him bored. I can see him a little tired because he complained about the media/news in Japan. Pleasence as a villain was one of my problems with this film similar to Dr. No he appears within minutes left of the film and all he does is sit in a chair petting his cat. Blofeld is supposed to be dangerous but he served as little threat to Bond. I enjoyed the Japanese landscape as I feel it was beautiful. The Bond women here are very well chosen to fit with the story and they are tough and know how to fight. The fight sequences between Bond and the henchmen were very well done and very electrifying. The helicopter fight sequence was highly original and really cool. The beginning of the movie had you gripped and confused with the suspense of it all. Connery was also fun to watch when he had on makeup to look like an Asian. The Ninjas in this film were a pleasant addition to the storyline and action sequences. Nice little way for Bond to sign off temporarily with 5 films and years under his belt. Overall this is a nice Bond film that deserves a little more praise than it is getting. 7/10

Great Concept..........Huge Miscasting Ruins the Film
25 March 2006
This has to be one of the slowest Bond films to date. This movie will have you falling asleep in a matter of minutes. Christopher lee is IMO one of the worst villains as he seems more like an insane little boy than a villain. Roger Moore as usual dishes out stupid one-liners while exchanging them with one of the worst Bond girls ever. Mary Goodnight has got to be the dumbest Bond girl to date and she does nothing but drag out the movie when she is captured. This movie also has THE worst henchman EVER in a Bond film. Knick-Knack was a horrible henchman and I would grunt every time he showed up on screen. He tries to add comedy to this movie but the comedy bombs. This movie gives a lame villain, a dumb bond girl, and a useless henchman and I still give this movie a 5. The plot was very boring but I like the concept. If they had followed through on it this movie would have been great. The car chase was not only comedic but it was very cool as this showed some car stunts never seen before in a Bond movie. The ending scene was clever even though I hated the concept of a Fun House for a villain. Nothing is spectacular in this film except the great plot idea and the car chase and stunts. This is one of those movies that could have been great if given the right actors and a thicker plot. This movie is just screaming out for Sean Connery as I feel he could have made this work. I do wish Connery did this movie as I feel it would have been better. Overall this is just a reason why Roger Moore is the worst Bond ever.

The Only Good Film From Moore
25 March 2006
This truly is the only good Bond film Roger Moore has ever been in. The writers finally recognized the errors of the previous 2 Moore films and they tweaked them a bit. Roger Moore actually does something other than spitting out one-liners at every moment. The supporting Cast is better than I expected here. They cast the actor for Stromberg nicely. Even though he didn't do much but sit around and push buttons he has the right screen presence. Bach playing the Russian spy was pretty good on her part. She actually got the role down correctly. She didn't do as much as I would have expected and she didn't seem like a huge threat to Bond but I understand this because this IS a Bond film. Now I must talk about the main attraction. Jaws was superb and rightfully cast by Richard Kiel. He made this film worth watching with his great screen presence as well as his cheeky moments in the film. Even though he was only on for a few seconds he made this film awesome. The fight sequences between Jaws and Bond are superb. Jaws is one of the greatest henchman ever under Oddjob. The plot here was a bit clichéd but it was still well done. Overall this is the greatest accomplishment Roger Moore has EVER done. Very good Bond Film here.

This is What Got Me into Spider-Man
25 March 2006
At first I didn't used to be a spidey fan. I would watch the animated TV series and not really understand it. I watched the first movie and didn't really like it but this movie got the job done for me. After a couple months of wait I finally got to rent this on DVD as I missed it theatres. Spiderman is a character that was hard for me to understand it it took a little looking into for me to get on the wagon. This was a really good movie. I liked this movie because we get a DECENT villain in this one. Doctor Octopus is a great villain with a touch of genius. Tobey M. does a nice job of playing spidey in this film as I think he got the role down better. I also like how this movie brilliantly ties into the first one with the Green Goblin storyline. Kirsten Dunst plays Mary Jane once again. I felt MJ was toned down a bit and I felt she wasn't quite involved like the first one. I guess that was the film's direction. The action sequences between Doc Oc and Spiderman are first class here and the CGI is done at a reasonable level. The storyline was gripping as I think the plot was just too good to hate. I liked the fact that Peter Parker proves he can be a hero without his spidey powers and the scene where he proves it is a really well made scene (my favorite scene in the movie). Loose ends are met here from the first one and the end leaves room for S3. I'm glad they got this movie just right and I'm glad I watched this movie. This is the movie that got me hooked on Spider-man so S2 gets a thumbs up from me.

Connery Is Back
13 March 2006
In this thriller of a James Bond movie we get the return of Sean Connery after skipping a movie. This movie was action packed to an extreme. Usually Bond movies slow down a bit to build up the tension but we get none of that here. Bond is in Las Vegas and the location is used to its every advantage. The redhead that is Tiffany Case plays a good tough girl with that high maintenance touch. Connery delivers twice as many one-liners as before giving this movie a comedic touch. Blofed is a very powerful villain and he is one of the best Bond villains to date. This movie also gives us the somewhat legendary henchmen of Mr. Wynt and Mr. Kidd. They provide some classic moments when they face Bond and when they finish each others puns and old sayings. They truly made this film the comedic masterpiece that it is. This movie took a different turn with more comedy and more action while still keeping the plot together. That is what I find fun about this movie. Bambi and Thumper are 2 vixens who know how to put up a great action sequence. Connery sadly looks older in this movie than I expected. He looks like he is 45 and I was shocked to find out he was only 40. I also think Connery might have soiled his reputation by returning for an huge sum of money. Plenty O'Toole was a pointless character that didn't even deserve ANY screen time. Overall if you've always wanted to see Bond with a little more action then I think this is the Bond movie for you. 7/10

First Marks the Worst for Connery
13 March 2006
I like all of Connery's Bond films but if I had to choose his worst it is this one. The first Bond movie was a bit lackluster. It was great to see the talented Connery (in his early 30's) play Bond. We got to see Bond utter lines like "youve had your six" but I felt there were problems with this movie. The villain Dr. No is a VERY boring villain and doesn't really do anything but sit in his chair. The "three blind mice" assassins that kill high power people are pretty boring and have no build up at all. This movie overall its just James Bond doing James Bond things like keeping his own bedroom under surveillance and booby-trapping his closet. The plot doesn't take shape until about 80 minutes into the film when we FINALLY meet Dr. No. I also think that the whole ending ruined this movie. I wasn't too happy to the fact that Bond beat Dr. No in a 15 second fight sequence but also because the girl he was with did nothing to advance the story. Overall this movie is just James Bond doing James Bond things. This is a historic movie nonetheless but I prefer Connery's others over this one.

The Modern Day Bond
11 March 2006
Bond returns in this thriller of a movie. After a 6 year hiatus of big problems about ownership and rights we finally get another Bond film. Pierce Brosnan finally gets his chance to play Bond and he delivers after all the hype. Brosnan making his debut as Bond and gives some fans (like me) a fresh breath of air from the lackluster Moore and the good yet little known Dalton. Brosnan has everything down from those classic Bond lines to his slight resemblance to the previous bonds. It is a shame Brosnan couldn't play Bond earlier because he could have started a bit younger. His hair is his only problem in wardrobe but he fixes that in TWINE. Sean Bean plays an excellent villain including being able to fight Bond instead of sending a henchman. We get to take in the beautiful sights of the islands making it a perfect setting. The plot is actually pretty interesting as I feel it is new and pretty straight forward. This marks the "first" of many new trends of Bond films like CGI and I believe Dolby Surround was also in this one as well. This takes Bond from the 60's and we get the modern day bond. Bond tackles more challenging missions while having bigger action sequences in movies to come. I enjoyed this one. 8/10

I Love the Holidays (2005 TV Special)

Finish It Off VH1!
9 March 2006
They cant seem to get this one off its feet. After the huge letdown that was I Love The 80's: 3D They just couldn't seem to recover with this one. I find it pretty hard to make fun of holidays. There were some funny parts in this one like Halloween and New Year's. I have a problem that they only cover Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hannukah, and New Year's. I think they need to do the other holidays since this is I love the HOLIDAYS and all. VH1 branching off in a different direction might not be a smart step as they seem to forget about fully finishing up what they started. I love the 70's part two and I love the 90's part three need to be done. I would also like to see I love the 60's. This can redeem itself if they possibly finish off the rest of the holidays. Overall I think this one they just tapped into it. I hope they have plans to go further into this otherwise I call this a bit pointless. Fans of the I Love The.... series will like this one.

It Was Good Even Though I Expected More
9 March 2006
I really thought this movie was going to be awesome. This marks the 20th film and the 40th year anniversary of Bond. I was excited as ever walking into that theatre. The movie was a little more than mediocre. The beginning of the movie was just AWFUL and an insult to all Bond lovers. Bond should never be caught and tortured..... ever. Judi Dench serves only as a thorn as all she does is wine and coldly shaft Bond.... another bad thing. I liked the fact that they had a reference from the previous movies but I hated the fact that they used a plot from a PREVIOUS BOND MOVIE. I see no logic except to bore us with unoriginality. The movie theme is also ridiculous and Madonna can't act that well. Halle Berry does nothing but spit out innuendos and idiotic puns..... another problem with the movie. She ALSO gets captured and your stuck with her spitting out puns on the torture table. Basically the first 40 minutes are unbearable but if you can survive that without ejecting the DVD then you can enjoy the action scenes (ignore the terrible CGI..... just have fun with it). I was glad Brosnan still had his Bond touch. He doesn't look as old as people say as I think he looked good for someone of age 49. The length of the film is not too long or too short but it is just right here. Enjoy the action packed ending and the pretty cool action sequences as well as the ever enjoyable Q. Only Bond fans with a high optimistic level will like this one but I thought without a handful of problems it was good. A nice way for Brosnan to sign off as Bond. He is the Best one since Connery and its sad to see him step down but his age would have gotten to him eventually. This movie is not a complete disappointment. 6/10

My Favorite Bond Film
24 February 2006
Now I realize the fact that I said Goldfinger was the best Bond movie but that doesn't have to mean its my favorite. This movie is my all-time favorite Bond movie. I liked this film because the plot was very entertaining and action packed. Connery once again enjoying himself as Bond in what he says was "His favorite" movie. This movie also gives off a lot of new material. Bond doesn't look invincible but he actually shows a weakness in this film but he uses his smarts and quick thinking to fill those holes. The head villain was another great cast and he wasn't a villain that just stood off to the side. I also like how the fight scenes in this movie were really original and the first of its type. Like I said before the plot was outstanding and the run length of the movie wasn't too long or too short. It was great watching Connery (still in his prime) play Bond. This was also the first movie where Connery has the rug on his face. Overall I really enjoyed this film and I find it under-rated on the IMDb polls as I think it deserves more than a 6.9. I know how good Goldfinger was and I think this movie measured up to what Goldfinger was like.

It Was Good
17 February 2006
I don't understand why people hate this movie. I thought it was a good film. They really did capture the essence of the Hulk. To start the plot was strong. I do have to say that there were a lot of holes but overall I say the plot was a very good one for this movie. You would look at this and you would think this is going to be a brainless reek havoc on the city sort of movie but Bruce and the alter ego known as hulk have depth. Hulk isn't just some green guy who is mad he actually shows emotions of sadness and guilt as well as confusion. I occasionally read the Hulk comics from time to time and I must say they did a great job. The roars of the Hulk really blew me away in the theatre. They once again capture a comic book hero as it is in the comics. This like the other comic book movies deserves a sequel because I fell a little more needs to be told. Overall not much more to say except it was good.

Best Bond Film
17 February 2006
This is it by far. I remember watching this film when I was 6 years old. This was the first Bond movie I've ever seen and this is what got me into Bond. You cant deny the fact that this movie was well constructed. Connery does his best work as Bond in this film as I would say his first 2 didn't have me going. This film I would say was Connery's breakout Bond film. Gert Frobe does a convincing job as Goldfinger. The battle of wit between Bond and Goldfinger as well as the battle between Oddjob and Bond were great. The romance and the action/adventure add a nice touch to what came out of the book. This is one of the shorter Bond films and I was a little shocked that it was under 2 hours. I would have liked it to be at least 25 more minutes. The plot was rock solid and kept me entertained throughout the film. I thought Pussy Galore alone would make this movie PG-13 but I guess this gets a strong PG. Q telling Connery "Pay Attention Double 07" is a classic line. There are other classic lines and moments that make this movie stand out from the rest. This is a classic Bond film that should be ranked near the tops of everyones "Bond Charts." Overall great Bond Film.

Wasn't A Fun Film
16 February 2006
I had little faith in this movie. Now I wanted to see this movie because relatives were in town with young cousins and we needed to see a family fun movie. So I went and saw this in theatres (the only movie in 2005 I saw in theatres) and I was bored. I didn't enjoy this movie at all. I think all the jokes were sort of slapstick (which I don't like) The children are in their roles but they are ANNOYING throughout this movie. They only serve as the thorn in the butt of Ice Cube. I liked Ice Cube in the Barbershop Movies but he didn't get the job done for me in this one. He just seems like the stereotypical big mouth gangster black man that I've seen a thousand times. I also don't like movies were one character has misfortune after misfortune after misfortune at every turn. Jay Mohr was WAY off in this film and he was a HUGE miscast. Now my cousins liked it but I guess its because they are young. Maybe I was too old to go see it.

Ahhhhhhhh............. The Good Old Days of Transformers
16 February 2006
Now I remember this show a great deal because I remember I used to watch it. When I was a kid I used to LOVE this show. I would watch every episode. The characters were awesome. I was instantly hooked when I watched the first show. So when I saw this show was on the database I had to post in it. I used to collect all of the characters I could find. Apparently I was a rattrap and Optimus Prime fan. I would say this show is good now because this was one of the early transformer shows before the ones like Armoda and GX came out. I wish this show was on somewhere because a part of me inside still want to see an episode. I'm glad I got in touch with this show when I was young because I used to LOVE watching every episode and I couldn't be pulled away from the TV.

Great Interpretation of the Book
16 February 2006
I had a lot to consider when I went to see this movie this past weekend. I was hoping that they could get it as close to the book as possible......... you know....... to make CS Lewis happy. Now I haven't given up on movies based on books but they were starting to fail on me. After I saw this movie I now change that statement. This was perfectly like the book in almost every way. Watching this movie it was fun to cite some memorable scenes out of the book in this movie. The acting was great....... The White Witch was played out perfectly. The Lion was made and sounded like a god. The four children were each characterized differently to fit the book and make each character unique. I'm also glad the movie wasn't rushed. Having it 140 minutes for covering almost everything is better than them skipping big parts and making it only 90 minutes long. I'm also glad that they were able to really capture the land of Narnia the way it was meant to be seen. Also those fantasy characters..... like Mr. "Thomnas" were all well cast and played perfectly. I was gripped with this movie and once they entered Narnia..... I didn't want to miss a second. Overall if you are a fan of CS Lewis and and love his books..... you will love this movie. As a reader of the book I think they did a great job and I cant wait for Prince Caspian to get a movie as well as the Silver Chair.

Nice Show
11 February 2006
When I was younger and this show was just starting I remember watching it the first time. I was a little freaked out by it but it is a good show. I used to watch it every Tuesday Night with my family on the Discovery Channel and I loved how the re-enactments were so precise. Its a cooler version of AMW. It basically takes America's Most Wanted and adds forensics science and autopsies. This show really uncovers its clues from the body of the victim or the examination of the crime scene and the case sort of builds up from there. This show is also great because most of the cases shown....... about 95% Id say end happily or are solved. In fact I've only seen 2 cases that went unsolved. IMO This is how all crime shows or basically all crimes should focus on. The victim and the crime scene can do so much to solving a case. The narrator is gripping in delivering the spooky elements of these crimes. I also like how these are real crimes and real investigations which adds to the spooky vibe. I would pick this show over AMW to get some crime investigations. I'll keep tuning in.

A Run and Gun Movie........... and Nothing More
29 January 2006
This is a good movie and all but this isn't a James Bond like movie. You take a war plot....... with an Sylvester Stallone gun fights and you just add bond into it. Brosnan does a good job here.......... you cant notice his age and he doesn't shove the one liners down our throats like Moore. I think the bad parts of this movie were the useless henchman who gets little buildup and doesn't do anything but stand around and look tough. I hated this air thin plot because the main villain completely destroys it. The villain should do something evil or have a nice background and buildup but this villain is just irritating and boring. Michelle Yeoh is OK here but you can tell that she doesn't have any chemistry with Brosnan and you barely know what shes doing. I enjoyed the remote control car sequences (including the hilarious part with Q). The best part was the the car chase with Bond using the remote control to drive. I was a little surprised at how they changed Bond to using machine guns and killing people without a heart or hesitation. The theme song was good as were some of the action scenes, It just doesn't feel like a Bond film.

Better Than the First
29 January 2006
This movie is very enjoyable. Tucker's comments are toned down and ease the pain of the first movie. Chan once again does a great job of doing awesome stunts. This movie takes place in Hong Kong so it also adds to the fun. They also stop by LA and head to Las Vegas. Chan and Tucker have great chemistry in this film. The bad guys are more believable here than in the first. Chan and Tucker provide hilarious moments. The fight in the massage parlor is THE best fight sequence I've ever seen not to mention the funniest. We gets some new characters that provide some hilarious moments. Like I said before the villains are better here and they also have a better plot. The plot is existent throughout the film and it adds to the nice pace of the movie. Eh........ It was Okay
29 January 2006
I didn't see anything special in this movie. They just had the typical stereotype of a black person x100. Tucker was VERY annoying with his big mouth one liners. Chan did a very good job. I think this is his best role in a movie. Chan brought this whole movie together with his awesome fight sequences......... especially the one at the beginning of the movie. Tucker just gets annoying and you just want him to get off the screen for more Tucker time. I like the plot and the fact that it was in LA but the plot wasn't too strong throughout the film. It focused on the Tucker/Chan bonding. Overall if your into a good buddy cop movie with Chan doing some nice stunts as always then you'll like this. I just wasn't satisfied at the "comedy" in this film.

Might Be because I'm Black......................

.............. but I liked this movie. I'm glad someone could capture the essence of an all classic barbershop. I know people had to have seen something like this in TV shows. The black barbershop has all black people talking about stuff they saw on TV, music, or white people. I also like the fact that this is in downtown Chicago. Its got that touch to it. I like all the topics of discussion as well as the cool moments in here. Ice Cube really shines as the cool and calm Calvin. I wasn't expecting much from this movie but Id say it delivered in a big way. Barbershop captured every essence of just what its like in a barbershop, music playing........ uncensored topics....... TV roaring. I like the attitudes of each character and glad they are all different. Overall if you're looking for something.... real or something about a barbershop looking to make it big. This movie is for you 9/10
