Sapne Vs Everyone (2023– )

Ambrish is going places
18 January 2024
TVF's best decision was to buy Timelines because they gave Ambrish to work on such a great platform and create this magic. He has really outdone himself this time with his writing. The fact that he focused on our days to day people who have dreams and responsibilities no matter big or small each has its own importance. The fact that these people don't care what's going on around the world with politics or religion, they just want to fulfil their dreams and their people happy.

The writing, dialogues and acting is great.

TVF is doing an awesome job by giving opportunities to people like Ambrish, Nikhil who are such versatile actors but awesome creators and writers.

Brahmastra: Part One -Shiva (Why God Why?)
10 September 2022
Usually, i try to write a review as soon as possible not to miss out on anything and give the movie full credit, however in this case I wanted to sleep through it because I wanted to forget some parts.

Brahmastra is an attempt by director Ayan Mukherjee to create an Indian cinema giant that could potentially be a rival to Marvel or DC. However, given the current state after part one I feel a lot of work has to be done.

The movie sets a great premise about the Astraverse where they have a great story. The only problem I saw was Ayan Mukherjee's direction. The reason is when you know the star cast includes RK, Alia, AB, Nagarjuna, SRK, and Dimple Kapadia you expect nothing but a masterpiece however Ayan Mukherjee managed to still screw it up. The movie starts on a great note with the AB prologue and SRK being awesome SRK, however as soon s the camera moves to Ranbir and Alia, the bar drops exponentially. The amount of effort the movie has taken to show romance is ridiculous.

I believe at this age the audience expects subtleness, cues, and mystery however Ayan Mukherjee believes in oversimplifying things for which he has to get 5 more characters just for 5 minutes explanation. The only time the movie became interesting was when they either talked about the Astras or When Junoon (Mouni Roy) was on screen, Junoon, Zor, and Raftaar are the only people in the movie who seem to know what they are doing. Amitabh Bachmann who is playing guruji is more cueless than Alia.

Overall tell movie ends with some hope because we know apart from all the Bollywood giri, the premise is set for a bigger stage. I hope Karan Johar replaces Ayan M with some other director and they sign a good start to play the antagonist (DEV) in the sequel. I hope it is Mohit Raina. Overall the story was great, the acting was mediocre (not SRK, Nagarjuna, and Mouni), dialogues were horrible.

Indian version of Tom and Jerry Duo
12 June 2020
This movie is a classic example of Indian Tom and Jerry version where in the lead protagonists keep on trying to best each other. The movie starts at a very slow pace depicting life which is revolving around the Mahal for everyone. Acting by each and every character is to the pint and keeps you gripped.

Betaal (2020– )
2/10
Good that it ends in 4 episodes
26 May 2020
Betaal is like promising dish you hear about from a big chef but at the turns out to be normal dish made in a hurry. Having the legendary Vikram-Betaal stories as foundation, the creators could have done wonders. But no work was done to create a background of the legend plus the acting of the zombies is the worst, you can litteraly see people just standing and pretending to be zombies.

Aahna Kumra has done a great job with her character and the intensity she brings with so less to offer on the other hand Vineet is underutilized in so many ways that his acting goes in vain. I would specially point out the military, it was such a embarrassment to watch them to their thing on their screen with random comments and lack of seniority sense.

Engaging Plot
20 May 2020
It's a masterpiece of a kind keeping the innocence if the characters intact throughout the movie where they journey through different stages of life from a small kid growing up perspective.it has real grasp on the 70s India and American culture hype in the country.

The mother, father, children bond is heartwarming and at the same time saddening.

Paatal Lok (2020– )

Engaging and Raw
19 May 2020
Paatal lok has a raw and engaging story sauteed with Indian Mythology and government conspiracy. Although it gets predictable after a while the initial twists keep you stuck to the screen. The acting by the leads is great in there respective roles. If only the writers could justify a decent conclusion to the series.

Great Bollywood Movie after a long time
22 February 2020
A great movie with perfect blend of story, humour and punchlines delivering a great message in light comedy. Bollywood needs to take lesson from this movie. Ayushman was as usual great in his role along with Gajraj and Neena. Jitendra Kumar has definitely made a impact with this movie and his great acting. Hats off again
