World of Dance: The World Final (2020)
Corona Season
A complete lackluster season. It made no sense that the semi finals were split the way that they were. All four finalists should have came from the second episode. But overall none of these performers would have made it to the finals on a regular season. Also how was it better to have the families crammed in a back room together than out in the main space?
Unicorn Store (2017)
With A Little Help From Your Imagination
As a burnout millennial that has unfulfilled creative dreams, this movie spoke to me. Is it a super artsy film? Yes. Is it a film for everyone? No. However, if you were raised to think you were special and then got kicked in the teeth by real life while still wishing you could do anything, be anything the way your parents taught you, this is the movie for you.
Honestly, it is a sweet film about realising your childhood dreams and ambitions don't have to die when you reach adulthood.
The Spy Who Dumped Me (2018)
LIsten if you are looking for quality, look elsewhere
This is not an awards contender, my life was not changed, I will probably forget about this movie in a year or so. BUT did I have a dang good time watching it? Yes! Go in with expectations of a perfectly decent summer movie to see with your friends at matinee prices, and you will not be disappointed. Me and my friend laughed the entire time. Quality probably a 6, but entertainment a 10. Listen the world is pretty crappy right now and I think we should all let ourselves enjoy a movie about two best friends going on a wacky adventure. Just let yourself enjoy this lighthearted completely unrealistic film as Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon clearly did while making it!
