9.2 when I sat down to watch it ...

8.5 by the time I finished 1.5 houts later.

It is dreadful. There wasn't a single 'actor' in the cast.

One cliche would instantly get chased of the screen by the next cliche. The fight scenes were school play level. The compulsory bumbling deputy, male of course, couldn't even find a hat that fitted. The 'bright young thing', female of course, was not actually very bright. The cafe owner love interest to the 'protect and serve' former green beret.

The dialogue! Oh! Dear! Seriously, seriously bad! I like westerns but this is an insult to them and perhaps most disgraceful of all: they gave the 'hero' a Clint Eastwood cowboy hat - not by accident, I'm sure - but so misplaced it's laughable. The hopes I had at 9.2 went down the toilet faster than a too spicy chicken vindaloo!

If you watch this rubbish, after reading my review, you only have yoursef to blame!

The Vanishing Triangle (2023)

If you can't find something better than this, you're obvioulsy not trying, at all.

I'll be brief: cliche, preceded by, followed by, cliche. Predictable? Yes, very. "Don't!" You know she will. "Double don't!" Of course she will. And so it goes ... Who dun it? You won't need me to tell you. Forced gay content? Yes, I think so but then I don't know Ireland around 1994 ( I think } but relevant to the story? No. Social commentary? I guess that will be the cover story. Like all of us, the actors have mortgages and / or bills, which must be the only reason they accept this sort of script. There are so many better cop shows from the UK and Ireland, choose any one of them, instead of this one!

Sanningen (2023– )

Very disappointed ...

While I wouldn't be quite as harsh as the other reviews as at 6th Aprin '24, I have to say that on the whole the series was very disappointing. The main character is completely unlikeable but not in a good or interesting way. The hallucinations are stupid from the start and then just annoying soon after. Most of her actions can be seen coming a mile away. The story is incomplete, setting it up for series 2 but I won't be wasting my time. I suggest that you don't waste yours. { Apparently a review must have a minimum of six hundred characters - I have no idea why but here goes: I like a number of Scandinavian authors and Scandinavian TV series but this one is well below par! )

I love stand up comedy but ...

... unfortunately, this guy isn't funny.

I lost count of how many times he said, "I'd love a cork up my balls" but it wasn't funny the first time and the repetition, repetition simply became a. Unnecessary b. Moved into minus funny and c. Finally just sounded stupid.

As many comedians do, these days, in injected the 'f' word into his routine - it took him about 15 minutes to do but but then he couldn't stop, like a rock gaining speed as it rolled down hill, he went there, too.

If you're a stand up fan, skip this guy. I, foolishly managed 60 minutes but then I thought I could better spend my time putting a sweet potato in the oven, so I did.

Darkman (1990)

This is absolute drivel!

Liam Neesham must have nightmares about this 'thing'. One reviewer called it "rather profound" but I think he was describing himself.

The acting, including Neesham, is dreadful, the script is even worse. At least Neesham had the good sense not to return for the sequel.

DO NOT inflict this flick on yourself or anyone you care about!

There is not a single saving grace in this film.

Script? Forget it.

Actors? Forget them.

Action? Forget it.

It's impossible to understand how this sort of c**p can ever get made, yet here it is.

If you watch this, heaven forbid that you paid money to do so, after reading this review then you deserve it!

American Mary (2012)

... how this got a 6.3 rating or even how it got classified as a horror movie!

It's basically a revenge flick, with body-modification freaks thrown in, I guess in lieu of monsters and ghouls.

The acting's bad, the story and script are bad, the gore is poor. And, at around 1 hour 40 it's about 1 hour 35 too long.

Don't, as I have unfortunately done, waste your time.

I got halfway through s1 e3 until, like Popeye, I shouted, "That's all I can stands, I can't stands no more!"

There are, so far, 3 seasons, so someone's watching - maybe you? but it won't be me.

The idea might have been good, the story might have been good, the movie might have been good but ... NONE of it was. The hardest thing to do, apart from sitting through it, was trying to decide who was the worst actor. I sort of forgive the samurai, after all, he'd been dead for 400 years, so acting and movies were new to him but no one else can be forgiven!

1984? More like 1948.

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, The Karate Kid, American Graffiti, Beverly Hills Cop, Romancing The Stone, The Terminator, The Philadelphia Experiment, Nightmare on Elm Street, The Natural, to name just a few and we had Ghost Warrior??? I reckon it was made in 1964, completely forgotten about until someone stubbed their toe on it and decided to release it to punish the rest of us for his sore toe!

Predictable? Ah, yeah!

Redeeming qualities? Hmmm, nah!

No idea how it got the 5.4 rating, must be those involved in the film, no way genuine reviews are getting anywhere near that score!.

Sure there're some okay fight scenes but they are NOT worth the pain!

It's downhill, gaining momentum from the hero ie professional killer, fails to double-tap the one guy that needs double-tapping!

Talk about false advertising - the reviws that got this piece of tripe to 6.2 MUST have been written by people dirctly involve in the production of this thing.

If I said: pathetic scrpt, amateur hour acting, cliche piled on cliche ... I would be being kind. Truly awful!

I turned it off about 10 minutes in. Amateur hour acting and script.

One example should be enough to stop you from wasting your time: The baddy strangles a policeman with ONE hand, while holding down ONE of the cops hands with his other. Why was the cop not bashing the baddy's head in with his free hand, or perhaps indulging in his own one handed strangling of said baddy, you might ask ...

I have not the faintest idea.

Trust me, it is neither.

I managed about 5 minutes ...

I can't be bothered wasting my time when the acting is so bad that it reminds me of a school play.

Storyline? When the cover is so unappealing, one cannot be bothered waiting for a possible story to develop.
