Big Hero Big Family Fun
24 October 2014
Warning: Spoilers
Having the opportunity to view this film twice really helped me get a perspective of the film that many may not have right now. This film is not FROZEN... it is not filled with songs or magical snowmen.

But this film has something else, it has family, friends, action , drama, and most of all a big robot named Baymax who will examine your funny bone and sense of humor . The film shows what kind of magic Disney can do with super hero's . The story is fast paced for the most part and the laughs and entertainment are high flying, that is if you like heights , but if you don't its OK because this movie knows how to get down also.

The characters work well with each other, kinda like the scooby doo crowd but twist that with a bit of incredibles and you have a fun filled, action packed movie that will delight boys and girls of all ages and keep parents happy that they took their child to see this. I know my family and I enjoyed it twice and will be back for multiple viewings.

Great film if given a chance
16 September 2009
first off this film is not too bad when given the fact it had less then 30 days to have a script written and storyboards done. So for the hard working artist I give this a 10 for that aspect. A little about the film. The film starts off in England where JohnSmith is charting his next adventure when his house is bombarded with soldier. John fights them off and jumps from roof to roof where he looses balance and is hanging on for his life. Ratcliff helps Smith fall by stepping on his fingers and we see John fall and "die". Ratcliff is next seen talking to the king telling him JohnSmith died and that his word was true that it was best to go to Virginia and destroy the Indians. The king tells Ratcliff that he will hold off on sending his armada until JohnRolfe arrives with Chief Powhatan. Back in Virginia Pocahontas tries to keep her spirits up by being around her friends Nakooma,Meeko,Flit and now Percy. Pocahontas hears a ship arrive with the blast of its canon and rushes off to the settlement to see if JohnSmith is there. During her visit to the settlement a horse breaks free and almost tramples a man who Pocahontas saves and he mistakes it as her attacking him. He tries to hit her when the Indian's watching over her pull back their arrows and ready for war. Pocahontas demands the halt of her people from doing harm and JohnRolfe does the same for the English. Pocahontas is not happy with him and for the first time we see a change in her behavior/attitude. Later in the evening JohnRolfe makes his way to the PowhatanVillage and offers a horse to the great(Pocahontas)as a gift of people between the people. Little does he know Pocahontas is not chief but soon finds out, he explains that the king wants to meet with the chief to build on a bond of peace and trust. Powhatan refuses and Pocahontas goes in his place.... The trip across the sea has funny moments with Meeko,Flit and Percy. Upon arriving in London it seems everyone breaks out into song for "what a day in London" which is a beautiful song. The movie is done as well as possible given its time limit. The songs are nice.. the most memorable for most is "Where Do I Go From Here?" Ratcliff returns and has some harsh and bitter interaction with Pocahontas. The term savages is not used as much in this film, now we have moved onto "filthy barbarians" The film hold many cute memorable scenes and the songs are done up just fine. The animation is very flawed as it was one of the first animated sequels made and produced in 3 different countries and put together. There is a good bit of action for the boys and a nice love story for the girls... Disney brings back a touch of truth and a touch none the less... The film should be looked at as not an insult to the original but an extension that gives us more songs and more depth to characters we love... however I am warning all who watch this there is a song that the house keep Mrs.Jenkins sings called "wait till he sees you" it is without a doubt the worst song in the film... the voice made me want to fast forward through it... I think this is a film that should be recognized and given a chance. I give it 10stars just because I know the pain staking process that these artist and animators and writers have gone through and the short time they had to make this. Also if your worried about historical accuracy go watch Fox's Anastasia I am sure you will love how true to fact that is... Demonic priest in the garden and all with a talking bat. Remember you can bash Disney for sequels but they are not the only ones who made them or are still making them. DreamWorks.Pixar just to name two companies.

Pure magic and imagination at its finest
27 June 2009
I am the proud daddy of a beautiful 4year old little girl who loves all her Barbie movies, however this movie is the one that seems to have captured her attention the most. The story is easy to follow, some scenes might be a little dark but hey if your kids can watch a Disney movie they can certainly watch this(Nobody Dies). The films animation was done very well, its not Pixar or Dreamworks but thats what is so great about it. This film does not try and be something its not.

The lessons of friendship and trust are really put up front in this film. I do recommend this film to parents who have young children, babysitters, or if you flat out just want to see a great story about muses of music turned to stone, two girls who find a girl trapped in a mirror, and must take her to her home which is the Diamond Castle. I won't be sexist either the boys will get a kick out of the twins and the dragon Slyder I know my 8 year old son though it was cool. I must say for a movie that didn't have much publicity, it has done rather well for itself.... the only reason this film does not get a full 10 out of 10 with me, is the fact that it does not supply the bonus features that I normally hope to see, such as deleted scenes. It does have a blooper trailer. However if you want to see the missing sequence you have to view Barbie and the Christmas Carol and see the deleted scene with the puppies, which is a very cute music video, its just sad that it wasn't on the original release of Diamond Castle. So what are you waiting for, go check out this movie, and if you have already, leave it some love.

Leory and Stitch Not that Bad
25 June 2006
Warning: Spoilers
This is a great follow up to the series, we get to see all the experiments in a flash cameo. The animation was good, not up to snuff with the original film, however much better than Stitch The Movie! This is set after the series, when all 625 experiments are captured and turned from bad to good. The Grand Council Woman gives Lilo Stitch , Pleaky and Jumba jobs in fields they feel they are best in, which splits apart the ohanna. Jumba back at the Lab, Pleakly a non teaching teacher at GCAC, Stitch now has Gantu's job and Lilo is sole protector of all the experiments. The jobs are what they want but this little family can't stay apart forever as a new experiment, experiment 629 is created by Jumba by force of Dr. Hampsterwheel. The film comes to a show stomping show down when all 626 experiments take on all 100,000 Leroys which were cloned by Hampsterwheel. This is a film that wraps up the Lilo and Stitch Series nicely. This film gets an 8 out of 10 from me, only because it is ending the series. However another movie would be great, as David and Nani are still not married and we all know they belong together.
