Cars on the Road (2022)
Not kid friendly
Gave my child nightmares. I turned it off as soon as I saw it reference the shining. Shocked Disney would release this and give it a G rating. Very disappointed!
You can't trust Disney these days even when all other content made with these characters has been great and kid friendly. I'm frustrated by the assignment of a G rating and feel it is far to scary for this rating. I hope Disney can learn from the feedback received on this and that they can try and keep our kids in mind next time they make a show with such beloved characters. Would not recommend and frankly makes me feel distrusting of the G rating on other Disney content.
Cars on the Road: Lights Out (2022)
NOT G, NOT KID FRIENDLY
This gave my child nightmares. I turned it off as soon as I saw it reference the shining. Shocked Disney would release this and give it a G rating. The shining is a spooky show, and while I'm not superstitious I do feel evil is real and the shining is a small portal to evil in this world. Having read the book and seen the movie they both leave you feeling unsettled. I know it is fictional story but I feel it discusses a side of things that exist in this world and that are very scary. Very disappointed. The person at Disney who approved this needs to have their job taken from them. More for parents than kids.
