The Souvenir: Part II (2021)
I hate that I didn't enjoy this
Same review as part one and I can't believe I'm saying this, In my opinion I felt like film was far to slow for my liking and not much going on but on the plus side I did enjoy the style of the film and the way it portrayed and I can see why people rather enjoyed this film. Tilda Swinton was an amazing actor as always in this and portrayed character as Rosalind really well. Personally I didn't enjoy it that much simply because of how quite it was but it was still a beautiful script.
Eight for Silver (2021)
What was that 😂
The effects in this film were amazing and the scenery and the costume designs however it lacked acting skills at time but also the way it was shot made it seem like the camera man fell asleep.
Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)
MORE THOR!!
I loved this film so much, comparing from the originals it was 1000% better but I felt like it was trying to copy Ragnarok and didn't work. I felt like some scenes were outstanding like the shadow planet and the kids fight scene. There was so many Easter eggs and I enjoyed that as well.
My problem is people are wanting all the movies of the mcu to link to the next big film but I'm enjoying these solo stories building up characters and introducing characters. Think about the comics, we have so many issues before a big realise and theirs so many side stories and I think marvel is managing it well.
Yes I do think they should spend more time on the CGI rather than rushing it but I haven't had a problem with any of their recent projects. I just wished they tidy up some of the post credits first, like still waiting on Stakar Ogord teams or Adam Warlock to appear and I felt like this movie could have been a great chance to mention them.
I also felt like the Guardians of the Galaxy could have came back at the end of the film as they both set out to stop Gorr but I could be speaking too soon and could be linking to their next project.
I loved how Chris Hemsworth family was in throughout the whole film and India could be a potential main character. Most of all I'm loving how they aren't trying to kill Thor of yet, he has so much more to offer. I also felt like this film could have been a great chance to introduce Beta Ray Bill. I still question how and if they will introduce Balder the Brave, Amora, Durok, Lorelei and most of all Angela. I'm very happy they brought Sif back in a comic book costume just wished they didn't do her dirty like that.
VALKYRIE DESERVED MORE SCREEN TIME.
Poor KORG though, one of my favourite charcaters of the MCU. I really hope he returns because after his marriage I couldn't tell what could happen next with him.
I'm annoyed though that they showed Miek for about 30 seconds and never mentioned again, they could of used him/her for a battle scene.
A great Easter egg I enjoyed was that the Kronan God was sat on a throne of scissors, a pun of game of thrones but also the Rock Paper Scissors.
The Souvenir (2019)
Visually beautiful but very slow and quite

Shepherd (2021)
Shepherd?
Ok I've got mixed emotions about this film because not at all was this film scary however it was visually scary of what it was showing, but at the same time I didn't have a clue what was going on from time to time.
It definitely gave me loki vibes with the scenery of where some of the footage was shot and how it was shot. I wouldn't really recommend it.
You Are Not My Mother (2021)
Can I be your Mother
What a great hidden gem of a film which needs to be heard a lot more. Hazel Doupe plays an amazing role as Char and the connection between her and her 'so called mother' was astonishing. The way you could tell Char loved Angela so much and the agony she had to say "You are not my Mother" must of really hurt.
If anybody wants to see it go watch it on Netflix whilst you have the chance. The only reason I ranked it 7 star is because I didn't feel that scared for a horror and felt more of thriller.
It really shows how mental illness on parent can affect their loved ones especially their children.
