The Seeding (2023)
Like children of the corn, but in the dessert
The title pretty much says it all. This movie is basically Children of the corn but in the dessert, except really bad (I liked children of the corn). Main character is useless and frustrating the entire movie. He's clumsy and only makes poor decisions. Also his super white pearly veneers don't really go with the setting? The whole movie leaves more questions than answers. Extremely predictable, and at no point was I surprised. The dialogue was also annoying; the flow of conversation between the 2 main characters is unrealistic. Overall, this felt low budget and unoriginal despite the cool scenery.
The House in Between (2020)
Terrible
Litterally nothing happens. They don't even try digging around the property after the cadaver dog "catches" a scent.
It Comes at Night (2017)
So much suspense for a whole lot of blue balls
Firstly, nothing ever came at night. The plot is confusing. Was there a plague? Are there zombies? Nobody knows. There was so much build up that it kept me interested and then it abruptly ends with no explanation on the assumptions you're left to make.
Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile (2019)
Way too much hype
I was so excited to see this movie, Zac Efron qas the perfect fit for the role. However, the movie dragged on with so many pointless interactions and not enough mystery or suspense. The spineless main character frustrated me beyond belief and at no point in time would teenagers ever try to handle this on their own and not involve the police
The Clovehitch Killer (2018)
Not too shabby
Interesting enough for me to not look at my phone but the main character was annoying
Coraline (2009)
So much yes
How far movies have come I grew up on Wallace and Grommit and now we've arrived at the some of the greatest stop motion movies😭 Coraline is such a unique story and Selick did it justice 👌🏼
