Kidnapping Stella (2019)

Made me feel emotional

Having not seen the Alice Creed film I cannot compare this to it. I intend to watch it after this one. I'm part way through it and already I've choked up and felt so much for Stella, put myself into her shoes so to speak. I've given it 8 because although it upsets me what she is going through, I need to find out if she makes it out alive

This has been so good to watch Stephen is a brilliant actor. I like the fact that the series covered so many topics that the audience could relate to in one way or another. He never disappoints whatever he's been in. I'm excited to see what comes next

After watching When They See Us I felt compelled to watch this. It made me so angry and upset. I wanted to jump in the TV and save him. It's disgusting how he was treated. I'm not going to put any spoilers on as its not fair on those who haven't seen it yet. Just know this, I could say an awful lot more

From the very beginning of episode one I was hooked. I loved it that much I binge watched it over 3 days. I've heard there is to be a second series, hope so its brilliant

Eyes opened

I did some intense Equality and Diversity training when working for the youth service in Co Durham. All front line services were required to take part. It was provoked by the death of Stephen Lawrence.

I went to a reading from Doreen Lawrence and my heart broke, what an amazing woman.

This documentary is by far the most accurate report of what happened to that poor boy.

In 2019 in West London where I live now, not a day goes by without a stabbing, a shooting or both. It shouldn't be happening!

Hanna (2011)

Yes..... but was the Caribou really kIlled?

The only problem I have with this film is the opening scene which contains the death of the Caribou. Was it really killed for the sake of film making. If someone would clarify this I'd be greatly appreciative.
