At worst, Archer and Men In Black did it better (and first).

At best, it is a fun revisionist-history spy-comedy serial.

It does break new ground from its other comps by dialing up the cartoon nudity, cartoon sex, cartoon violence, cartoon pee, and cartoon zoophilia to 11. Part of those in that list don't feel earned; like the crude humor and side character deaths feel out of place and force just for the sake of being crude.

The voice acting is great, and the animation style is fun.

At the end of it all, I did sorta wish there was more than just 10 episodes, so I think it is worth a watch, and at least a second season.

Worst. Writing. Ever.

Probably the worst written show ever. It was tryin to be funny but none of the jokes landed and the attempts at putting contemporary language in a quasi-period-fantasy just make it feel so awkward.

Characters are constantly saying "do the thing" or "we need to go to that one place." Which makes it feels like they either forgot the line or the script was dumb-down so they can remember the lines faster? And doesn't leave us rooting for heroes who can't even remember where they are goin or even why. (e. G. Nearly about to battle a character's plan is that they make out?) No one would talk like that. Its just never ending unearned comic relief.

It just makes them look dumb. They are not written to the top of their intelligence. It cannot build any tension cuz the dialogue undercuts it with each line.

Scenes are choppy. Costumes are inconsistent and lazy. But the world building is cool and fairly consistent if you can ignore all the dialogue.
