Kid 90 (2021)
Disappointed
I thought this was going to be a lot of raw footage of the actors/actresses in the 1990's. It was more about Soliel's life journey and mostly focused on the bad things that happened or life changing experiences. There was not as much footage as there was interviewing different people. It was not a terrible documentary, but not what I was expecting. I guess if you are a really big fan of one actor/actress and want to watch a 1 second clip of them, then this is for you.
The 15:17 to Paris (2018)
Best movie I've seen in awhile
Top notch acting, great character development, and an uplifting story. Unlike the pointless superhero movies out in theaters with wooden acting and no real point, this movie stars real heroes.
The Stand (1994)
Worth watching at least once
This was very entertaining and easy to binge watch.
18 Again! (1988)
A much better movie than the average reviews
There were plenty of movies in the 1980's where a kid would trade places with a parent, but the best of these in my opinion is 18 Again! The take away I got from this movie is the powerful bond that can develop between a Grandparent and their Grandchild. Also, what it would be like for someone at the end of their life to have one chance to go back and be 18 again if just for a short time.
Deal of a Lifetime (1999)
A fun movie, worthwhile watch
Good Movie 7/10. This is back when movies still had plots and character development.
City of Angels (1998)
Wonderful Movie!
This movie is a great twist on the Book of Enoch and the Book of Genesis. An Angel falls in love with a human and decides to fall or give up being an Angel to become human. The take away I got from this movie is that life is a great gift and to savor every moment. The movie has a great message with stunning visuals. I'm not sure how the average rating is a 6. I have seen a lot of movies and this deserves better than a 6. I'm sure the same people are rating all of the Marvel and DC movies very highly. Either way, City of Angels is worth watching at least once.
The Prophecy (1995)
Entertaining
I remember watching The Prophecy in the theatre 20+ years ago. I think the IMDB overall average of 6 out of 10 is fairly accurate for most people, though I rated this an 8 because it brings back fond memories of the mid-1990's. I still have trouble seeing Christopher Walken as an Arch-Angel, but this film would also not be watchable if he was not in it.
