Doctor Slump (2024)

Look im watching it because im on a drought with netflix that being said this is poorly written and the acting is just average. The FL is okay never seen her before but theML is a total dork that has absolutely no acting skills and noway a girl would fall for him.

................................................................................................................ all that negative review but im eager for the next episode so there is something to this although im not sure what.

The FL mother has been in a lot of KD ive seen and she actually can act so far really the only one in this that can.

Reacher: New York's Finest (2024) Season 2, Episode 6

Episode 6 is such a disappointment of all the episodes from both seasons this is far and away the worse.

I hope this isnt a taste of what's to come it appears they are out of ideals with more episodes left to make and you can only fake it so long.

Maybe they will learn that fight unrealistic scenes cant hold a audience i just dont remember in season one having a let down like this, nothing in this 45 min was remotely possible id have to say 24 was more realistic than this Its a great series with good actors but they are as good as the writing and somewhere along this story it went south......

The Boys in the Boat (2023)

Very few people know this story and how incredible this was and honestly the movie didnt even touch on it enough, i know its two hours and what can they do.

Its a family movie that adults will also like the acting is perfect.

Have to give it to Clooney for doing this he had to know this wasn't going to be a huge money maker but did it anyway.

Been waiting for this since i read the fantastic book wondering if someone would pick it up. We need to pay to see these if we want them to be made in the future.

Would have like to have the accomplishments of the rowers show in the credits like the book explained, these were all very successful people, doctors, lawyers and such.

Gyeongseong Creature (2023– )

Didnt think i would like this probably based off its odd name but thats me, this has blown me away through 4 episodes, Never have i seen better acting throughout the entire cast, its not a who's who of Korea but everyone is on their "A" game.

Ive done my fair share of looking into WW2 Germany and Japan but never heard of unit 731 which is a true thing that happened and it was as bad as what the NAZI's did, this and a small amount of sci-fi which doesnt really hurt the series along with a very dynamic FL and as someone stated in a review its a MASTERPIECE.

It took the 2nd episode for it to really kick in and has built on so far please give this a try its fantastic.

Love to Hate You (2023)

The MF and Kim Sung-ryung were fantastic this is my first time seeing Bin and really liked her also first time seeing Kim Sung-ryung in a comedy and she proved she has a wide range of acting ability plus very beautiful.

. This started out well and the MF demanded the camera she lights up the screen and that kept up throughout the series but it turned sour after 6 episodes and never recovered

The Korean men at least the younger ones are basically wimpy dorks, and i think its that way in real life as for the women they are tougher than junk yard dogs and i do have experience in SK so think i have them pegged.

Believer 2 (2023)

Horrible, this might be the biggest let down of all time with Korean movies they seem this just replace a story with killing and gore which doesnt work at all and the character played by Han Hyo-Joo didnt work either and her acting was just bad. Nothing her worth seeing.

When you watch this there isnt one instant where you actually feel good and have the feeling your seeing a quality show that had some thought when the wrote it.

Han Hyo-Joo walking around with her mouth open was too much to take, this is hands down the poorest performance she has put in and im a big fan of her and still am but good lord what a waste of time this was.

The Glory (2022– )

Very few KD am i happy when its over and mostly wishing that a few episodes before the ending but not this one, season 2 is actually better than the very enjoyable 1 and how many times is that the case. The LF put on a performance that is unmatched in KD and i hope the USA give her credit like Squid game got which isnt even in the league of this series. The older lady that was her partner in crime was also just unbelievable and she always be fantastic in everything i ve seen her in. Plenty of twist her that dont go too overboard in the belief aspect. It might be set up for a season 3 but probably not, id watch this actress in this role every damn day.

Normal People (2020)

Id give this a ten but it did linger on for maybe 2 episodes to long and the on again offf again relationship got a little old but that pretty much it, this is the first Irish anything i could understand what they were saying. The acting was as good as your ever gonna find in anything and i like that for most of the series there was almost no music or songs played which lent me to focus on the acting and story more, they did bring in song songs the last couple hours but it didnt do anything for me, this was a nice change and and im not sure the void of music would work with just average acting.

The two leads need to be given huge credit for this and ive never seen or heard of either.

Just started it with 2 complete nothing to not like about this, it not going to be a foolish romcom but there is a little indication that an attraction is building, het its KD but its mature. The two leads are fantastic the girl who ive never seen before is very talented she doesnt blow you away with stunning beauty even though she attractive and the male lead is smooth but not the typical cocky idiot. This is done with some cleaver writing and a good pace plus the side characters are some of the best and my favorites. Ill adjust as needed but for now someone needs to promote this very enjoyable series.

Little Women (2022)

Only one in but so far its very good. Kim Go Run has always impressed me with her talent but has never been in a series that held my interest not that it's her fault. The story has a lot to offer, poor sisters with a worthless mother struggling to make it with their jobs and in a work place with vicious backstabbing Korean women.

It doesnt appear to be a silly KB ROMCOM but of course there will be some kind of relationship developing here so lets keep our fingers crossed and hope they can do a believable series .......................................................................................................................................................................

I binged this and glad i did i found it interesting and far fetched but enjoyable. The problem is almost none of what happens could in a important place like this you know their monitoring everything and nobody is gonna go unnoticed but that being the case you cant really make a series so they had to let some things slide and they went pretty far with that so i gave it a 7 not a 10.

Id watch season 2 if they made it, this is the best series from down under ive seen for what its worth.

Ultimate Weapon Alice (2022)

This was an unusual short series it has romance but not KD stupid romance with some good killing and the best sound track ever on KD. The writing is great and the pace consistant this is a good model for what series should be, roughly 4 hours not 20 hours of repetitive boredom. Would have given it ten but they kind of blew the last episode but the ending was good still it was a bad episode.

Black Bird (2022)

I enjoyed this id say could have been done in 4 episodes without missing anything, acting especially by the killer Larry was fantastic but the writing was a little bit stretched and required some level of denial, just too many times situations didnt seem likely. The guards, doctors,F. B. I agents all were out of what line to how they would have acted. Still its a 7 and good.

Purple Hearts (2022)

In ten min i was confined this was a loser with typical hollywood woeness but it changed and went on as an enjoyable not great but fair movie, better than a made for tv flick i didnt recognize any of the players in this which is sometimes good, its a little predictable but really what movies are not.

Would have given it 8 but to much singing and her voice was good for two songs thats it.

Good drug cartel flick has the normal stuff with a good grift at the end. It's not great but its good and never drags. The killing is vicious and heartless but this is what you get in this life .Travolta looks old and gross but he can still sell a part................................................................

This started out like it was the new great American classic until this cringy do-gooder enters the room and it went downhill from there, he was just to overbearing and made it uneasy, Lively on the other hand blew me away with her presence and acting ability but her character was to strong to believe she would fall for this wimp so in the end this failed.

Backstreet Rookie (2020)

I know its a romcom but this role by the male lead got old pretty quick and its not he cant act ive liked him in other series, the female lead was good first time seeing her and all the sub characters were very good, This is on the writer not the cast, most people will like this so dont listen to me give it a shot.

Never heard of or seen any of these actors before and thats great getting sick of the same ole, this is just an amazing series with highs and lows but shows a mix of different cultures working together to transform a dying deli, best restaurant series ever and would have given it a 10 but to short in time.

Season 2 made me downgrade it, it wasn't as good as the first and didnt get along with the story far enough for me and a few too many stupid unrealistic stunts.

They did a good job with Richie's character which could have been a show stopper for me and at first i though it was heading that way.

Of course Cooper is dead now but its amusing listening to this story if i were to guess Ragsdale or whatever his name is was a Red Herring provided by the government to keep people off the real person but no ideal why they did that.

He just answered questions to make himself look guilty and hes obviously to smart to do that unless hes in on the fix.

This is done well but just doesnt have much of a pulse kind of just moves on at a snails pace with a few laughable moments, i spent a lot of my time ff with only the scenes involving the ML.

Not sure what's better the Autism theme or the acting by the main lead, she is just so cute and funny in her delivering of this character, we will see how this plays out but so far its fantastic.

With 8 episodes in have to say this is the best most enjoyable KD ive seen to date. This makes good KD look average at best.

Only two hours left and a lot to sew up this should have a great finish, come on writers dont blow it now.

If there was ever a KD series that warranted 20 episodes it's this one but we only get 16.
