But in the case of Highway to Havasu, I bequeath none. For lo, it is not strangled by its limitations, but rather, quite the opposite. The budgetary restraints have not resulted in a compromised product, but rather, an undignified charter of the laziest filmmaking possible. The non-existent script of which, must have been devised as a "comedy" precisely because directionless, illiterate, director/writer Jeff Janke was called "funny" and a "class clown" in secondary school. Behold, this effrontery feature that dares to call itself a film, has been brought upon us simply because some kid once told Jeff Janke that "he's so funny, he should make a movie."
