A gentle, most heartfelt affair.

Great cast, dialog, pacing and score. Just a really decent film. Most recommended.

Who cares?

Everything that is wrong about this has been well covered. In essence this is just one of those series where you just don't care about the characters or the story arc. Eminently forgettable.

Why?

In other aspects of life one can take stock of a bad position and walk away. Not so in the movie industry. This is not the worst you'll likely have seen, but it is sufficiently poor to wonder how anybody ever signs off on such a project. Awful dialog, direction, set pieces and performances. Just really bad. Even if you set out expecting very little, you'll still hate it.

What a load of cliche driven drivel.

How this is amassing the much better than average score it has is a mystery. Just a patchwork of cliches and stereotype all topped off with a tenuous BLM cherry on top end-scene. I would consider myself a Spike Lee fan. This is sub par.

I love hockey, I love it that much I watched this to the end. This is a profoundly bad film. I genuinely wish it were otherwise.

Very Good Indeed

Fantastic. The best series I have seen in a very long time. Neither given to write reviews, nor watch two entire series in two sittings yet here I am. Often brutal but utterly communicative with a sensational lead performance, this is a story of good people doing very bad things in an ever desperate downward spiral toward oblivion. The juxtaposition of the viewers empathy toward a mother utterly betrayed and her acts increasingly destitute of all morality, is perfectly poised.

I was only able to view the first two series here in the UK, so any further series are an unknown quantity to me.

This is not The Sopranos, and has only the theme of crime families in common. Like the Sopranos, this is quality TV of the very highest calibre.

Most recommended.

Did i miss something?

If you have read any of the earlier reviews then you will no doubt be familiar with the importance of Baloney sandwiches to the story. I will simply say, and without a shadow sarcasm, that the aforementioned sandwich is by far the most talented offering in the movie, given that it actually looks like sandwich and, of equal importance acts like a sandwich. Truly bizarre. There are no words that can convey just how bad this film is. I have taken a better standard of movie (with my mobile phone facing the mirror) called Nasal Triming! The plot, such as it is, revolves around Goblins, a suspicious town called Nilgob, Urine, Ectoplasm, the spirit of a deceased relative and Baloney Sandwichs. Just to add some randomness, surprisingly none of these elements bare any understandable or logical connection. The scriptwriter is clearly insane and hopefully has found some form of medication that will allow him to exist on the plain of reality as the rest of us. The cast offer creative talent easily surpassed by toe nail clippings and the Director, i believe, is running at least 7 part times jobs. Dumb.
